Pursue Excellence at NIT Patna

Overall Rating
The overall college is good, but the campus is little, small, it is about 40 acres. But no worries in the campus we have a playground, indoor games like badminton, table tennis, squash. Even in the campus we have the Gym, which are separate fir boys and girls. Our Campus is located near the bank of River Ganga, so every Sunday we can go and the watch the Ganga Aarti.
 

Academics Rating
I'm telling about Architecture branch. No doubt Academics here are really superb. They conduct time to time mid-semesters and End-semesters exam. Here the weight age is 30 marks for mid-semesters, 60 marks for End-semesters and 10 marks for assignments and class test. Overall academics review is good. For Odd semesters, they'll conduct mid-semester exam in the month of October. And in December they'll conduct End-semester exam. For 1st semester we have 5 subjects.
 

Faculty Rating
In my department maximum (95%) faculty are graduated from NIT PATNA only. The faculty is awesome here, they teach superb, they make class more interesting. The entire faculty came from a very good background. There explanation is very good, except Maths teacher. Maths teacher is not good, we cannot understand what he is teaching, he us little aged, his age is roughly 65, I guess.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a Placement Cell; it is called Training and Placement Cell. The professor in charge of this cell is Dr. Samrat Mukherjee and Dr.Shailesh M Pandey. Here the placements are very good in other departments, not in our branch architecture. There is no placement for architecture branch, but still, everyone gets an internship. Talking about other branches the placements are really good, but this year the statistics are very low.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes our college has hostel facility. We have separate hostel building form 1st year to 4th year. The hostel is very bad in condition, The roofs are falling down, and it needs a lot of improvement. The infrastructure in hostel is also not so good; we have old generation tables and chairs. It needs a lot of improvisation.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Talking about infrastructure everything is superb. There are separate buildings for all departments and Mechanical Workshop for Mechanical Engineering. The college buildings are really good. We have centered A/C classroom for CSE department. There is a computer lab facility for all departments of students. And there is library facility also for all students and the timings are from 9 AM TO 8:30 PM.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life in NIT PATNA is Amazing. There are many numbers of clubs like Vista the photography club, Hackslash for coding, UI UX. Total Chores the dance club, Natvansh the drama club, Descio the design club, saptak the singing club and many more. Recently we had a desi night organised by Total Chores club. We enjoyed like a hell. We have annual fest called TCF it will be in the month of January every year; during tech fest we have multiple competitions like inter-department competition, athletics and many more.

    Overall experience in the NIT Patna is very good. I am doing my B.Tech from this institute which have two campus one at Ashok Rajpath road and another at Bihta.     When I came to National Institute of Technology Patna Bihar for physical reporting then I did not feel good because I thought NIT Patna will not be able to give me best campus and Institute life.     I am a first-year student in the CSE department of this renowned Institute. I am giving this honest review through my experience to give proper perspective of institute through my eyes to the new aspirants. The campus is considered one of the smallest among NITs.     Just like most of the students, I also love my institute. In NIT Patna, you get the promised cultural mix and get to meet people from all over the country. The infrastructure is good and up-to-date. Faculty and curriculum is good.
