Academics took the mantle, and the rest of all things came as complimentary. Studies were the real test here for students, as every activity we were assigned was a test here, and surprisingly, we also didn't know which marks would be added to the term sheet. All the doubts or the topics that were left were rectified at the back end to make sure that nothing was left on the table. As far as the projects and case study solving are concerned, I think I was quite happy with that because many groups were formed, and we had to present our case in front of the whole class. So, that also instilled a lot of confidence in us as this is what we are doing today in the board rooms of the respective companies we work for.

Academics are no doubt the biggest thing at the University. The attendance buffer though even for MBA students was not high. All we had to do was indulge in some projects or include sports in our schedule and we will have enough excuses to miss the classes. HR was not my dream but had to choose that because I had no other option. The attendance was counted hourly and that was a bit strange. Students did get in some sort of tangled due to that. The practicals and all were not just held in the University but taking us out for industrial visits was quite common. The exposure that I got at FLAME was unbelievable but yes I couldn’t get my desired choice of subjects.

All the specialization of MBA is provided by the college but I chose MBA in communications management. My other friends who were doing MBA in regular streams couldn’t believe that a course like this even exists. The MBA of Flame University is a distinction as the teaching methods and the way the balance between the theory and the practical’s was maintained was so overwhelming. We never felt that the classes were long as the breaks between the classes made it easier. The course demanded industrial training and from second semester itself we were sent for industrial training and learning was done not just from books but also through working was the beauty of the MBA from Flame.
