The FLAME University campus is huge and is spread in more than 70 acres of land area and has a built-up area of approximately 120186 sq. m. The campus is guarded 24*7 through CCTV surveillance and trained security guards are also deployed for ensuring the safety of the students.
At the FLAME University, ample facilities are available for students to support their overall development; it includes Wi-Fi connection, lecture theatres, library, laboratories, auditoriums, amphitheatres, sports, hostel, infirmary, transportation, etc. Apart from this, students who are physically disabled are provided a barrier free environment through availability of ramps, lifts, and other related amenities.

Academic Facilities
There are a multitude of classrooms wherein students are provided with quality education using ICT tools. Apart from this, ‘APJ Abdul Kalam Lecture Hall’, ‘Chanakya Lecture Theatres’, ‘Tagore & Ramanujan Lecture Theatres’, equipped with modern AV teaching-learning aids are also present inside the FLAME University campus for providing enhanced learning experience to the students.
The University has around 2 air-conditioned auditoriums named ‘Kalidas Auditorium’ / ‘Kalidas Centre for Performing Arts’ and ‘Shantiniketan Auditorium’ can accommodate nearly 200 & 500+ students, respectively. These venues have the latest audio-visual systems and are used for hosting various educational & non-academic events.
Besides this, many well-equipped seminar rooms and conference rooms are also available at the FLAME University campus and are used for conducting seminars, guest lectures, conferences, presentations, and related academic activities.
There are multiple open-air amphitheatres present within the premises, one of which has a seating capacity of around 600 students. Here, many recreational gatherings, performances, panel discussions, guest lectures, and related events are organised. Other amenities available for students include photocopying facilities, ‘Raja Ravi Verma Centre Visual Arts Centre’, ‘Kabir Recording Studio’, ‘Writing Centre’, ‘Q Centre’, and the list continues.
The major academic facilities available in the University’s campus for supporting students’ intellectual growth are discussed below:
- Library: ‘The FLAME Vivekananda Library’ is the central library of the University which is spread over 2555 sq. m. land area. The multi-storey library building has a vast assortment of learning resources including approximately 55,367 books, 58 journals & magazines, 20 National & International newspapers, 1524 AV resources / CDs / DVDs, 1579 student project reports, and much more. It also has several spacious reading rooms, reference rooms, 3 study / discussion rooms, etc.
The automated library can accommodate around 432 students. There is also a computer lab wherein around 72 PCs with Wi-Fi connection are available for students to access the online learning resources. The e-databases and library membership includes Bloomberg, LSEG Data & Analytics, EBSCO, ProQuest, JSTOR, Scopus, Indiastat, CMIE, Thomson Reuters, Economic and Political Weekly, and so on. Other facilities include a news room, reprographic services, and reference section, to name a few.
- Laboratories: Inside the FLAME University Pune campus, there are various technologically advanced computer labs with sufficient number of PCs for students & faculties so that they can complete their academic tasks and research. Other than this, the different departments of the University such as Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Design, etc. has labs named, ‘Raman - Chemistry Lab’, ‘Bhaskaracharya - Physics Lab’, ‘J.C. Bose - Biology Lab’, ‘Design FabLab’, etc. for providing hands-on learning experience to the students.
Non-Academic Facilities
Aside from the above-mentioned, various other non-academic facilities are offered to the students to ensure they receive a holistic campus experience. Some of these include a provision store, laundromat, conditioning studio, and fitness studio, to name a few. The other major non-academic amenities available are:
- Sports: The FLAME University campus has world-class sports infrastructural facilities for the students so that they can explore their interest in various games and also maintain their overall health. There is an ‘Arjuna Centre for Sports’ which includes outdoor sports amenities like Cricket Ground, Football Field, Track & Field, Handball Court, Volleyball Courts, 2 Tennis Courts, Golf Course, Swimming Pool, and much more.
Indoor sports infrastructure comprises a Basketball Court, Tennis Court, Squash Rooms, and separate spaces for Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom, Billiards, Taekwondo, and several others.
- Hostels: The University provides separate accommodation facilities to the boys and girls inside the campus. The rooms of the FLAME University Hostel are fully-furnished and allotted on a twin sharing basis. Other facilities available for the residents are meals at the dining hall, laundry, transportation, and so on.
- Cafeteria: Inside the FLAME University campus, students can enjoy tasty and healthy meals at the numerous cafes; some of them are ‘Times Café’, ‘Library Café’, Juice Press’, ‘Café Coffee Day’, etc. Here, the students are served with hygienically prepared food options like North Indian, South Indian, Chinese, desserts, juices, and much more to cater diverse taste preferences.
- Transportation: The University owns around 5 buses that provide commuting services to the students and staff members. These buses operate at fixed timings on different routes on working and non-working days.
- Healthcare Facilities: There is an ‘Infirmary’ at the FLAME University campus wherein adequate healthcare equipment are available to provide prompt medical assistance to the students. Experienced Doctors and Nurses are available round the clock so that students’ needs such as vaccination, basic treatment, minor procedures, and medicinal requirements are fulfilled.
Other than this, ambulance services are available 24/7 so that in case of medical emergencies students can be transferred to specialised centres like ‘Chellaram Hospital’, and more.
- Gymnasium: At the multi-gymnasium set ups present inside the campus of the University, students can exercise using treadmills, leg press machines, weights, dumbbells, and other training equipment to maintain their physical health.
- Banking: ATMs are there in the premises to fulfil the financial requirements of the students.
At the FLAME University campus, there are 40+ clubs & societies.
