MATS Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship Bangalore Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Initial plan of the University was to take MIME to Jain Global Campus. Thankfully they didn’t do that or else no one would have joined. Having said that MIME is a single building campus but the one that is fully equipped. The classrooms are air-conditioned and almost all the rooms be it library or auditorium room, they all are air-conditioned. There are 3-4 labs including computer and micro lab. There is also a seminar hall that was used for practice for events and joint sessions. That was more or less the go-to place because if the lectures are postponed the only place to go at the campus was that. To take the tiredness of the students the University has made sure that they have a cafeteria because the canteen was pathetic. I wish I could boast MIME infra like I did for main campus as this campus has nothing exceptional to flaunt.

Events are a part of JGI group and that were also evident at MIME. If there are no events they will call-up some star personality for a lecture but no month at MIME can go by without any event happening. Sometimes had to push myself that yes we are a part of the PGDM course and it’s not that easy. At the end of the day, the lectures started pushing for the syllabus as they knew they were behind. Being a part of events or sometimes only for cheering, the alumni meet and the convocation everything about the institute was so whelming that even though I don’t think the institute rank high in numbers but in my book will always be there at the top.Read Full Review

The campus is small as it has 2 buildings and parking space. There’s no sports ground or a park like they have on some of their other campuses. The Jain University is good at providing sporting opportunities but I don’t know why they have built this Jayanagar campus so small. The building is new and the classrooms are airy. The digital library at MIME was I believe the first digital library in Bangalore. Others followed the suit and now you have digital libraries in all the decorated colleges of Bangalore. The college also has a cafeteria and canteen. The micro lab of the institute is something that I have never seen before. The large sofas with a seating capacity of 60 students have been installed on the second floor of the college building. In all the institute area is small but have all the facilities apart from a sports ground.

From fresher’s party to Alumni meet (Milan) every event that happened at the campus was something. The share market game that we were given special sessions on weekends was again something very special. The convocation day that was held 6 months after we passed out was the last time I had the opportunity to visit the institute where I have spent some of the most memorable days of my life.Read Full Review
