There are separate boys and girls hostel wings. We were given a simple room and had to bring beds and cupboards by our own. The room is simple as have one fan and an attached bathroom. There are quite a few hostel wings and all with same features, i.e. no features. An empty room with walls was what we were provided and told that you will have to get your stuff by your own. With little or should I say no fees kind of amount they charge, we can’t expect anything more. The rooms are given on triple sharing and the only good thing about the room is that they are spacious enough. Thus, we all three have our own space and without disturbing each other we can do our things. The hostel is clean and well-maintained and as medical students we don’t have a choice but to stay in the hostel.Read Full Review

There are 15 hostel buildings out of which 2 are girls hostel and rest 13 boys hostel. Hostels are also divided year wise and this is good as our building only have 1st year students. When we arrived hostel had empty rooms and we had to fill it with our own stuffs. From bed to cupboards, we had to buy them all. The building is old but has maintained hygiene. Any form of drug or anything is strictly prohibited and this is the best part as surprise checking can happen at any point in time. Hostel rooms are allotted on triple sharing basis and we all from Surat. Thus far hostel is one place which serves as our hiding space because after a long hop at the college, hostel is our rescue spot.Read Full Review
