IMU Kolkata Faculty Profile

The faculty members are really supportive to the cadets both academically and emotionally. Most of the faculty members are well educated having a strong academic background with most of them being from IIT's, NIT's and other reputed counterparts. All the classrooms are well furnished with air conditioning and other essential equipments. IMU Kolkata has got one of the best and largest workshops in India which contains boiler room, engine room and various other parts which a cadet will be working on to give him a prior experience.Read Full Review

The faculty teaching about Marine Engineering in the university is all selected through India level exams. They themselves are great in the field and teach very well. Most of them are captains or chief engineers in Merchant Navy and now professor in the university for every subject. There are dedicated faculty for every subject and they are always available to solve our problems. The faculty uses a combination of PPTs and blackboards to make teaching more of quality, and make students understand better.Read Full Review
