Yes, the placement cell is present which is equipped with the senior most faculties who help the students with the healthy discussions on the scope and demand of the industry that make it easier for the students easier to get selected at decent packages where the average package of computer branches roam around 12 to 13 LPA and 10.5 to 11.5 LPA for non computer branches. Thapar University Admission Process and Requirements for Computer Science

I am a first year student currently, so I don't have any personal review about placement but as heard of Thapar University offers very great placement opportunity as many big companies like Apple, Google, etc. visit the University every year for placements. Just one bad thing. But, if you sit in one company’s placement round and get a job letter from that company, then you cannot sit in the other companies rounds which will be taking place after that and this is done to maintain the placement records and percentage of students getting placed.Read Full Review

Yes, we have a Placement Cell which selects the student body to run it smoothly. They do help in placements by organising workshops where we can help in improving our soft skills which is very important for the placements. They also organise mock interviews.Read Full Review
