The main Thapar University campus sprawls on approximately 250-acre land area and it comprises a vast variety of facilities including smart classrooms, library, hostels, bank & ATM, food joints, and so on for the students. Thapar University also has an off-campus located at Derabassi covering an area of about 30 acres.

- Library: A ‘Nava Nalanda Central Library’ covering around 7856 square meters of area is available within the Thapar University campus. It consists of over 1,25,000 printed volumes, 1,28,000+ general books, 9000+ periodicals, and numerous other academic resources for the students with a seating capacity of over 800 individuals. Inside the library, numerous group discussion rooms are available namely ‘Krishna’, ‘Narmada’, ‘Saraswati’, ‘Chenab’, and the list continues.
Apart from this, scholars' reading areas, a library auditorium, around 80-seater seminar room / hall, photocopy section, reference section, and a wide variety of other facilities are present for the students. Access to an e-library is also provided to the students through which they can learn via 15000+ e-journals and various resources which are available through the subscribed databases to help them increase their knowledge.
- Laboratories: The well-maintained campus of the Deemed University features around 191 labs in total including a number of computing labs which are fully-equipped with an extensive range of PCs and through the same students can obtain hands-on experience for better learning. Besides this, the available academic departments such as Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc. have their distinct labs.
