Graphic Era Hill University (GEHU) was established in 2011 as a Private Educational Institution under the aegis of Graphic Era Educational Society. Located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, the University is approved by UGC. Moreover, it is recognised by BCI, PCI, and Association of Indian Universities (AIU). In addition, the University has multiple campuses other than Dehradun which are located in Bhimtal and Haldwani.

GEHU Dehradun is famous for its diverse range of courses, state-of-the-art infrastructure in the campus, and placement opportunities from leading companies.

Graphic Era Hill University Dehradun offers numerous courses at Bachelors, Masters, Certificate, Diploma, and Doctoral level. * The University accepts minimum 50% marks in Class 12^th as the eligibility criteria for admission in courses like BCA, BBA, MBA, MCA, and others.

* Besides the above-mentioned fees, students have to pay several other charges including application fee, caution money, and others. Moreover, the fee differs for Uttarakhand State students.

Note: Students need to appear in the entrance-cum-scholarship test of the University namely, Graphic Era Common Entrance Test (GECET) for admission in the available courses. In addition, students will be exempted from the University’s entrance test if they qualify any equivalent exam (CAT / MAT / XAT, etc.) with requisite score, depending on the course’s requirement.

Admission Process

The Graphic Era Hill University admission forms can be filled by the students in either online or offline mode. In addition, the University grants admission to the students on merit basis. Followed by Personal Interview (PI) / Self-introductory round is conducted under few courses. Moreover, under provisional admission, seats will be allotted to the students based on the projected score.

The University provides scholarship based on the performance in GECET; the scholarships slabs of the same are mentioned in the table below:

Apart from this, the University offers Merit Scholarships to the students under all courses; it is applicable till the completion of the program. Moreover, 10% additional scholarship on the tuition fee of the respective course is provided to the female students seeking admission at the University.

In addition, students belonging to SC / ST / OBC category can avail the Post-Matric Scholarship offered by the State Government.
