Academically, the Nair Hospital and Dental College is very strict. No compromise about the academics here. I am in my third year of my BDS degree. Regular tests and assignments keep you swamped most of the time. And usually, medical students always seem to be neck deep in their studies. Our practicals are also carried out with great patience and understand which is a must for every doctor out there. Every semester, we have to give compulsory seminars. These seminars help every student in deeply understanding the topics presented in it which are also related to dentistry. In our fourth and final year we are supposed to perform a presentation. It is also a compulsory activity for every fourth year student. Nair Dental College is the best fit overall, mostly in academics.

I strongly believe in ‘the more you practice, the more you evolve’. And I am so glad that my college believes in this too. The quality of Doctor depends on how much practice he/she has done, i.e., how much experience does he/she has and hence, practical knowledge is very important for medical students. The faculty of Nair College understand this and thus they focus not only on classroom knowledge but also on practical experience of students. Doubt sessions are arranged by teachers to make sure that no student left behind with any topic. Class tests are arranged for practice and it helps students to look after their performance. It is mandatory to give presentation for students in fourth year. Students have to maintain their classroom attendance 75% compulsorily and practical attendance 80% compulsorily.
