Sri Guru Gobind Singh College Chandigarh Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

I went to Sri Guru Gobind Singh College because of its good reputation. Another reason was that it was the closest from my home. However, after a week it proved to be better than my expectations. The college is big and clean. Starting from my department that is Physics department, we are provided with 4 labs. We have plenty of apparatus and instruments which means that a particular student can practice on an apparatus without any sharing or group formation, which brings clarity. The teachers are very willing to help. The overall environment is stress-free and positive. The college isn't very strict. You can enter and leave whenever you wish such were good for someone who wants a side hustle. The teachers are also not very strict but they teach well. Attendance isn't a very big deal here. This flexible environment is good as it offers us to discover other things too. In addition, we don't have to buy any book all the books are available in the labs and library. We also have 3 LAs. One for M.Sc 1st year and others for M.Sc 2nd year. Our seniors are also helpful.Read Full Review
