The CMR University (CRMU), Bangalore has a lush green campus and comprises state-of-the-art infrastructure & facilities. There are 3 campuses of University i.e., Lakeside, OMBR, and City; each one has various academic and non-academic buildings to make the students’ learning experience convenient.
The Lakeside campus of CMR University Bangalore is spread over more than 60 acres of land with a built up area of 69584.37+ square meters. The amenities offered to the students within the CMR University campus are smart classrooms, auditorium, laboratories, library, cafeteria, sports, hostels, etc.
At the University, students’ are offered an ample amount of top notch facilities which provides an engaging educational atmosphere. The University has more than 130 ICT-enabled classrooms equipped with projectors, screens, speakers, and others to aid students with audio-visual learning.
Moreover, there is an auditorium which is developed on around 6238 square feet area and about 4 AV halls with an over 6957 square feet area that can accommodate approximately 600 students, respectively.
Additionally, there is an amphitheatre of about 8428 square feet area with around 1000 seats. Along with this, seminar halls and conference rooms are there to organise various functions, events, webinars, sessions, and programs.

- Library: There are 4 libraries of which 3 are ICT-enabled with adequate resources for students to gain subject-related and reference information. The Library and Information Centre has approximately 52,565 books, 65+ journals, about 10 magazines, and 17 newspapers. Moreover each department has its own library with an ample amount of titles and volumes.
Furthermore, there is a digital library with approximately 36189 e-books and 13890+ e-journals. Additionally, online databases are available with other facilities such as reprographic services, reading section, etc.
- Laboratories: There are computer labs in each of the departments of the University with adequate systems to help students complete their academic tasks. Furthermore, there are 48 laboratories in various departments such as Engineering and Technology, Management, Science & Computer Science, etc. Some of the departmental labs are Physics lab, Design Thinking lab, Mechanical lab, and Machine learning lab.
- Sports: The Institute has excellent sports infrastructure for both outdoor & indoor games facilitating physical development of students. Adequate amenities for outdoor sports such as Sports Complex, Football Ground, Basketball Ground, and Cricket Ground are present on-campus. Moreover, indoor game facilities for Table Tennis, Chess, etc. are available for the students.
- Hostels: There are separate residential facilities in around 6 hostels namely, ‘Student Quarters’ or ‘Student Accommodations’ for boys’ and girls’ at the University’s premises. Moreover, off-campus hostels are available. At the CMR University Hostel, rooms are of multiple occupancies. Furthermore, various amenities such as mess, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, drinking-water, 24/7 security, and indoor games are present.
