CMR University, Bangalore - My Review

Overall Rating
Good college for engineering. If you are average in studies, because of the training you get here, will get improvement in academics. The Institute provides good atmosphere for enhancing your skills and help us to give different ideas to start start-up. And placements are good.
 

Academics Rating
I am student studying in CMRIT and opted electronic and communication course. The eligibility criteria depend upon your KCET rank. EC is available who scored up to 50k rank in KCET and depending on your rank and quota you can easily join CMRIT. CMRIT provides good placements in ECE.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are really friendly. All teachers teachings us are Ph.D holders and other faculties like Attendees are also qualified. The modes of teaching they use is board, ppt, and videos with proper examples and give us activities on that topic. They on spot check whether we understood the particular topics taught on that day.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, of course and we have training from 1st year which 95% of engineering college doesn’t do but CMRIT does it. So it will be really helpful during placement drives. It helps to acquire in every industry. And other companies visit our college.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the hostel infrastructure is really good and follows all hygiene method which is needed for good healthy life of students staying in hostel. Food also is really good and area surrounded by hostel also is really good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our college is designed very well and has a large spacious classes, centralized AC auditorium, hygiene washroom at every floors for boys and girls, etc. Classes have smart benches, smart board, etc. Canteen with awesome food and menu, consists of chats, juices, meals, breakfast, lunch, and the price are also pretty much lower than outside food.
 

Campus Rating
Currently enjoying the atmosphere of college. Our college consists of different clubs for different courses in our college and is free to join and consist of many activities which involves like coding, quiz, etc. Talking about fest we organize cultural fest and inter sports fest and consist of NSS camp in which we do social services for society from our college.

    If your KCET rank is around 50k you can obviously choose CMR. It has good placements from last few years. College is placed in perfect location which is surrounded by ITPL and Marathahalli. As my rank was 13k I got admitted in SNQ quota. Students with good rank and with income less than 3 lakh are eligible for SNQ.... Read Full Review

    College is nice, with good campus, environment, and the main advantage is it is located near ITPL, where most of the companies are present. With an average KCET rank, you can go for this college.     Bangalore has nearly 100 Universities and half of them are crap. CMR University is a big name but honestly doesn’t even deliver half of what is expected. I entered the University with big goals and dreams. I was all excited to learn and shine in my career. CMRU for sure had some other plans in store as it stripped us from all that was expected.
