With a high placement percentage so far, the students of Jyoti Nivas College have been placed in technical, non-technical, and service fields for a variety of profiles such as Software Engineers, Developers, Public Relations Officers, HRs, Counsellors, Reporters, Editors, Air Hostess, Actors, Models, Lecturers, and Teachers, etc.

Students need to register with the placement cell and then undergo a 6-months training where they are taught about several aspects of professional life along with aptitude and soft skills by industry experts.

For final-year students, the placement begins in the 5^th semester and the candidates need to clear all the rounds of interviews in order to get an offer. Permanent employment is also offered to the 4^th-semester students who perform well in the internships.

The college focuses on providing a positive and safe environment for all the girls who come to attend college from all the regions of India. With kept-up gardens, well-designed buildings, and green landscapes the students also get well-furnished and air-conditioned classrooms, a library, labs, research laboratories, and auditoriums. Here are the facilities available at the JNC:

• Food Court: The sisters of St. Joseph and the management of JNC inaugurated the food court that serves a variety of dishes at a fair rate and also has a mini-mart for the student’s requirements.
• Library: The campus has a vast and well-designed library that supports the curriculum of the college. The library was established in the year 1966 and has a collection of 30,000+ books, e-books as well as journals. There is a separate library for blinds and it is covered with CCTV surveillance.
• Hostel: To get admitted to the hostel, the girl must be a student at Jyoti Nivas College and has to pay a hostel fee. The hostel is well-equipped to ensure the basic needs of the students are fulfilled.
• Medical Room: The medical room at the campus is managed by a well-known healthcare center and has the necessary tools, medicines, and emergency healthcare. The health of the students is a priority at the college and the medical needs of students with special conditions are also acknowledged.
• Board Room: With the provision of overhead projectors, screens, and other audio-visual aids, the room can seat 50 people at a time.
• Conference Hall: The seminars, faculty meetings, conferences, training programs, and admission procedures take place in the conference hall of JNC. With a total of 120 seats, it also has projectors, screens, and audio-visual aids.
• Auditorium: Known for its aesthetic ambiance, the college auditorium is the cultural center for the performances like plays, intellectual seminars, dances, film screenings, etc. It can seat over 1200 people and has separate washrooms and green rooms as well.
• Audio and Video Studio: There are separate audio and video studios. The video studio is used for Film Production, Photography, Film Screening, Green Matte Technology, and Workshops, whereas the sound studio is used for Sound recordings, Sound Mixing, Radio Classes, Sound Design classes, and workshops. They have the necessary equipment available to support the proper functioning of these tasks.
• Mentor-ward system: The College has a mentor-ward system with the help of which the students can reach their teachers/staff members for one-to-one interaction to discuss their concerns.
• Parking: Around 1500 sq ft of the campus is dedicated to the parking area for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
• Co-curricular and Extracurricular activities: Students can participate in many activities at the college like Sports, Music, Quizzes, Elocution, Dramatics, Journalism, NCC, NSS, Bangalore Catholic Association Rotaract Club, Adventure Clubs, etc.
