Good academic approach

Overall Rating
Jyoti Nivas College is a girls’ college and it is located in Koramangala, Bangalore. My experience till now has been good here because they take academics seriously and they also conduct many activities which will help you mentally and physically. If you're looking for a reputed girls’ college then this college is a good option.
 

Academics Rating
The college offers various postgraduate and undergraduate courses in BBA, B.Com, Psychology, etc. The academic life of this college is good, and their main motive is to offer quality education and expose you to the corporate world. For getting admission in this college, you should at least score 85% in your 10th and 12th. I am pursuing BBA because I wanted to know more about business and how things work in the corporate sector. If your goal is similar to mine, then you can opt for this course.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of this college is amazing due to teachers being supportive and understanding. The professors are highly educated and most of them have acquired their Ph.D degree. They also keep a practical approach in the classes and presentations are shown for better understanding.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a Placement Cell in our college which proved to be helpful for many students. You can get external internships in final year.
 

Hostel Rating
We do have a hostel in our college and it is inside the campus. The review I got from my hosteller friends regarding the hostel was decent. There are many restrictions but that is the reason why it is safe because you won’t be allowed to go out without permission or gate pass. The food quality is not that great and the infrastructure is average. You have to share rooms with others and there is a common washroom in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the campus is pretty good as there is a lot of space in the campus and the academics block for every course is the same, but every course has a different department. We have a canteen, sports field, game room, gym, and library for each department. Jyoti Nivas College organises many activities and stalls every week. It's so fun.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is good as we have lectures every day, but we also have events every week and each department have its own events. There are different clubs in which you can participate and take membership and Jyoti Nivas College also hosts one of the biggest fests where different colleges participate, and you get to interact with so many new people.

    The infrastructure is quite good because it's a very old college, around more than 50 years which is located in a market area. So, the spacing is quite fine. It has PU block, PG block and Degree block in the same campus. There are two auditoriums and one amphitheater. It has a canteen which can accommodate a large number of students at a time.     Surrounded by trees and plants there is this beautiful women's college in between the magnificent Koramangala area is the Jyoti Nivas College. Here students from various backgrounds and states come here in search of their destiny and to fulfill their dreams. Few are the iron woman who wants to change the situation of their family, and few are the youth icon of inspiration.     I m an UPSC aspirant. Jyoti Nivas was my first choice in Bangalore as it gives perfect blend of subjects like public administration, sociology, and economics that helps me to understand all the three subjects.     Jyoti Nivas College is a reputed college in Bangalore, and it is an all-girls college. It is an autonomous college. There are both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the college.     Jyoti Nivas College is not ranked that high but it’s a nice college. First of all, it’s a girl’s college started by nuns and the group that handles the college is from France. We have them as the only male visitors because other than that there are hardly any men invited to the campus. The college is a milestone as the college mostly stays away from the limelight and still holds a great reputation among the women’s colleges in the country.
