Sona College of Technology Salem Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

We have different blocks for different departments; no departments are kept under same buildings. Security is always quite strict it seems. We have a big Sona library, which is the biggest in the Salem region, in that we have digital library also. All international and national books are seen in the library. 2 open auditoriums and 1 big Sri Valliappa auditorium is present, we also have a big cricket ground, football ground, seminar halls, incubation centers, and department specific labs in the college.

I'm enjoying my life in Sona college, I don't regret my choice on behalf of choosing this campus, I love to study here. I'm experiencing a good socio environment and social connections with my valuable seniors. We have fun clubs like Techathina, Sonaria, etc. KRIVVAS is our cultural fest. A massive infrastructure can be seen in this particular college, we have the biggest library called ‘Sona library’, both digital library and normal library are available. Each department has their own building and practical lab. For our department Mechatronics, we have an auditorium, which is very good and massive. My favorite part is open auditorium. We have 3 canteens with affordable items to buy and taste is good there.

Overall my campus is a heaven to lead your studies and improve your knowledge. A descent crowd is there and it is not over populated. There are plenty of clubs in which you can participate and get exposed to many events and improvise yourself. We have Sonaria, Sonata, Krivaas as cultural and Sona English club, Atha Club and Literature Club as educational clubs. My experience here is that I love this college and to be a part of it. There are 6 to 7 blocks in the college. For sports, one ground, one cricket ground, gym, swimming pool and shuttle court are there which are average in size. There are two canteens but snacks are costly. There is a seminar hall, few labs, one library, and one internet library. My favorite place is digital library where I spend my time usefully. There is a medical centre and transport facility as well.

My overall campus life is average. The college has fun some days but boring the other days. It is all about your own motivation. The college is super crowded as well. There are many clubs and activities. Events and Fests are also conducted. Make your time useful and worth.Read Full Review
