Sona College of Technology, Salem Tamil Nadu was established in the year 1997 as Private (Autonomous) Educational Institute to provide higher education to build a career in the field of Engineering, Management and Computer Applications. The College has a Placement and Training Cell which helps students to develop the technical knowledge and soft skills to meet the corporate demands. The college campus is located in the ‘Steel City’ Salem. It is surrounded with hills on all sides and is just 1 kilometer from the Railway Station and 3 kilometers from the bus stand. The campus covers 34.5 acres of land with its total built-up area constituting 7,50,000 square feet. The entire campus is interconnected with optical fiber. Different programs, seminars, conferences, and other events are conducted in the 3 Auditoriums and 2 Seminar Halls built inside the campus.
