Lady Shri Ram College for Women New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure of my College is brilliant. You'll find well-equipped laboratories; there is a separate library and a reference section where students can go and study without any disturbance and noise. The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated. We are also having air conditioned seminar and conference rooms. We even have a dedicated medical room with nurse and necessary equipment. My favorite spot in the College is Nescafe where I can sit worry-free.

My overall campus life has been beautiful but academically it is quite hectic since you will have to juggle between classes, seminars, etc. but it is fun to do everything. The College crowd is extraordinary and wonderful. You'll meet inspiring and dedicated women who will teach you to believe in yourself. The people of LSR New Delhi are the kindest of all in my opinion. There are a lot of societies in College that will help you to build a confidence in yourself. The campus is beautiful. Every corner is surrounded by lush green trees and flowers. One of my favorite things about LSR is the wall murals- hand painted by students themselves. The campus also has several pet dogs. An interesting fact is that all the dogs are female! In terms pdf technical infrastructure, the new block does have large, spacious classrooms with big glass windows that offer a view. However, the old block has several shortcomings. The classrooms are poorly ventilated. There have been several instances where students have been asked to sit in cramped spaces due to lack of seats available. There is no provision of air conditioning, except for a few seminar halls and the media lab (one of the reasons why the fee for journalism is higher).

LSR campus life provides a very safe and comfortable environment for women. As a girl, it feels liberating to wear whatever you want without anyone questioning your virtue over it. I do feel that LSR being isolated from other college’s foes present a challenge. In terms of the “north campus” hype, LSR might seem a little boring, as there are only internal events. The student union and different societies do hold workshops and sessions during ECA slots and lunch break, which make campus life a little interesting. Ultimately, it depends on how much you’re participating and contributing towards societies that determine your experience of campus life. The overall scene is very relaxed. We have 3 vast buildings in our College, 2 well-stocked libraries with access to all physical and digital books, college Canteen, Nescafe, Mother Dairy. The canteen is hygienic and affordable. The best part of the Campus is the Front & Back lawns, which are very widespread, and the most famous spot for hanging out. We have an amphitheatre and 2 Exhibition Halls used for events. The auditorium is well spacious and is utilized for all events meant for the whole student body with a balcony to accommodate everyone.

This College houses more than 70 clubs and societies all of which are led by students. The Diwali fest, Noor and Annual Fest, Tarang bring light to the campus like no other. Besides these, all the departments conduct their own Academic Fests, which bring students from other colleges to this College for many competitions. This College offers NSO, NSS, and NCC which look out for extracurricular along with the most prestigious societies like Enactus, IFSA, and E-Cell. The college crowd is very inclusive.Read Full Review
