The best thing about the course is the faculty. Most of the professors are really chill and friendly. You’ll be able to form a interactive bond with them. They’re relaxed about coming late to classes as well. Most of them scored us fairly in our internals, based on work and merit. They’re quite experienced with the field of work and provide personal anecdotes that give you insight about the industry. Even the projects projects assigned to us during class are interesting. The smaller batch size has its advantages as it leads to better student-teacher interaction. The teachers are approachable. The faculty of the Statistics Department is one of the best in the college. This was the factor that made me keep College Statistics as my first preference. The department consists of 7 well-experienced teachers who focus on learning within the classroom. Teaching methods include White Board, Screen, projector, and Computers in Labs. They give us practical knowledge through MS Excel, Python, and SPSS, all of which is necessary for a career in Statistics domain. The Head of Department is very involved with the Department Union and students directly to solve any problems faced by the students.
