College has overall 10 blocks and some of them are very well maintained. But some are not well maintained and they do not have proper furniture for the classroom. All classrooms are not Air Conditioned and in the summer sometimes it becomes very difficult to sit in the class because of the high temperature. Classroom has proper furniture and some classrooms also have the smart board to enhance the learning experience. College has a good canteen area and it has capacity of around 250 students at a time and it offers variety of food. Institute has its own central library in which all the required books are present for the students to study. Overall college provides all necessary facilities for the students but sometimes college feels very congested and it need to be less dense because college is very dense with buildings.

Overall college life in this institute is average it provides all type of experiences of the college life. One of the best experiences of the college is the fests and the events that happen in the college. I think events happen each month in the college whether it is a sports event or the cultural event or it may be a technical fest. There is also an annual fest that happens in the college in the month of April in which celebrities also give their presence. Sports events are fun at Mangalmay Institute and they are fun to watch. The show which I love is the dance show that happens in the farewell event in the college in the month of June. There are many clubs in the college that are run by the control of the college faculties and some of the clubs named as MGI Music Club, MGI Dance Club and Fashion Society, Public Speaking Club, Uddheshya Club, Control Cell.
