Shiv Nadar University Chennai Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

There are 3 academic blocks in our university for courses. Campus is built in 250 acres of land. A library, gym, 1 canteen, and 3 food courts are present in university. Classrooms are fully equipped with ACs. There is a badminton court and 1 indoor basketball court here. My favorite thing is library as it has around 600 books for all the courses.

Campus life is absolutely good and amazing. You can feel secured and comfortable in the university. The crowd is limited as there are only 300 students approximately as there are limited seats. There are many clubs. Yes, I am part of Business club. Instincts, Invente, and Mela are some feats and events that are organized here. On annual sports day, tournaments are held to promote the sports among the fellow students.Read Full Review

Infrastructure of Shiv Nadar University is very good because it is established recently. Campus size is 230 acres and is located near Chennai. There will be 60 students in every class. Classrooms are equipped with ACs. Infrastructure of classroom is also very good compared to other universities nearby this university. All the academic facilities are available and are maintained very high level. Canteen, sports, and medical facilities are very good. In university, there is one park, which is very attractive.

Overall campus life is very good and outstanding. University crowd is very less. There will be about 1200 students in all the four years of B.Tech and 1000 in other courses, making total student population in the university below 3000. There are many clubs in the university and I am in coding club, which is based on coding languages. There are many extracurricular activities and international level sports facilities. Fests are less though. There will be 3 fests per year. One fest is celebrated very grandly for 4 days. My experience is very good in the campus experience.Read Full Review

As of now, we have 3 Academic Blocks for the school of Engineering, Commerce, Science, and Humanities. And we have a separate block for the School of Law. We have multiple sports facilities for a wide range of sports from Basket Ball to Cricket. Our classrooms are all huge and well-ventilated. Our Labs are all well-equipped and air conditioned. We also have a Career Development Centre (CDC). Our campus flaunts huge auditoriums that can host large audiences.

Campus Life is as you would expect. You can expect making friends for life and having memorable moments. The campus is amidst sprawling greenery and is a feast for the eyes. We have events taking place throughout the year. Two of the major events happening are - Invente (the technical event) and Instincts (cultural event) which are made possible and awesome through the collaboration of SSN and SNUC. We are also sent to other colleges for different cultural and technical events.
