At BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology campus, several facilities like classrooms, fully-fledged libraries, modern labs, canteens, hostels, etc. are provided to the students which helps in their overall growth & development. BPPIMT Kolkata has built several blocks including ‘Block A’, ‘Block B’, ‘Block C’, and others at the campus for academic, administrative, and other purposes.

Academic Facilities
At BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology campus, 24+ classrooms, nearly 8 tutorial rooms, and approximately 2 drawing halls (with a seating capacity of around 60 students) are available for the students. The Institute has set up modern teaching amenities in some of the classrooms in order to support blended mode of learning.
Approximately 600 students can be accommodated within the auditorium of the Institute and it is used to host fests, cultural events, presentations, and other programs. The Institute also has multiple seminar halls / rooms in the premises with podiums, projectors, microphone, and other AV equipment. One of the seminar rooms has around 75 seats and the hall has nearly 200 seating capacity. The Institute has numerous conference rooms (one of them is located in Block A), a board room, and few other academic spaces.
Few of the additional educational facilities are as follows:
- Library: A central and few departmental libraries are established by the Institute at the campus. The academic collection at the central library includes 48,550+ book volumes, nearly 2833 book titles, more than 4170 e-books, around 60 printed journals, newspapers, etc. Approximately 120 students can be seated at once in the air-conditioned reading room at the central library.
There are nearly 30 PCs at the Digital library & Reference / Journal Room and students can access the e-resources through this facility. Also, this area can accommodate 52 students at a time. The library also has a photocopying room, lending rooms, book bank facility, etc.
- Laboratories: At the BPPIMT campus, around 2 computer centre & approximately 11 computer labs are available with latest software technologies. The department of Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Application, and others have technologically advanced labs. Few of them are Engineering Chemistry lab, Project lab, Communication lab, Language lab, Electrical Machine lab, and others.
Non-Academic Facilities

- Sports: The Institute helps students in their overall development by providing requisite sports amenities. Boys & girls get separate indoor games facilities at the Institute that include sports like Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess, etc. Outdoor sports facilities are also provided to the students.
- Hostels: Accommodations to boys & girls are provided separately and outside the campus that are managed by a third party. Rooms with basic amenities, mess / dining hall, medical services, and other required facilities are provided to the male & female hostellers in the BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology Hostels.
