The campus life is just fine since the campus is not that big but in that itself the infrastructure is well built so that students can enjoy their campus life. The crowd is sometimes more and sometimes way too less based on the timings, at break time the campus would be way too much crowded then compared to other time. There are so many clubs for the students and can enroll themselves in that club to achieve and get experienced in their desired way. The fests are done very often for the students to enjoy and take part in different things. They also celebrate festivals, the occasional days and much more.Read Full Review
Infrastructure is good, They are having Old buildings for workshops, and Lab condition was good. All labs are air conditioning, They didn't provide wi-fi, But you can use internet in computer lab, It is nearest to KIMS (Kempegowda Institute of Medical Science) this was plus point of this institute. There is big library is present.
Bangalore Institute of Technology campus has 7 to 8 acres of area I think; the campus is not so big. They are only focused on study, rather than they didn't provide such kind of facility like Sports, Study tour, Cultural fest, But in this institute they celebrate national festival like Holi, Diwali. If you want to do only study then it is best for you don't focus on other things.Read Full Review
The college is not so big, but the college has almost everything apart from a proper playground. The academic building was huge, as UG classes were on the 2nd and 3rd floor while PG classes were conducted on 4th floor and 5th floor. The 6-floor building had the admin department on the first floor, and there are 2 buildings in all at the campus. The machinery department lab was like a railway yard but hardly had any dust which is quite common in Bangalore. This shows that the college was looked after well. The auditorium was like a Wembley stage as it was majestic, and not just students but many Kannada film stars have performed at BIT's auditorium. The college canteen was a complete no-no for me as it was a full South Indian menu, and having Idli, Uttapam, and Dosas at any point in time was certainly not my thing.
Not much events as my UG college had. There was no dress code but students had to wear formals as jeans was not allowed on weekdays. Even the girls can't wear skirts, and all as the college is quite strict about what students wear at the college. Even students were not allowed to come in slippers, and all this soon became a habit. Meeting people from a different culture was one of the biggest positives that I took from BIT. Placements were the main reason I came so far, and getting placed in one of the top companies has made my campus life worthwhile.Read Full Review
