NIT Agartala Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

NIT Agartala is situated on a large, 365-acre campus. The modern infrastructure of the Institute comprises 13 departments and offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Our Institute has one of the biggest Sports complexes. Gym facilities are also provided. The gym is open in morning and evening and is equipped with a variety of equipment. One drawback is that there is no night canteen; you won't get anything to eat at midnight. There’s a shopping complex comprising a lot of shops where you will find almost everything. It closes around 10 PM. The Institute has a well-equipped medical unit with two senior medical officers. The library has a stock room with more than 30,000 books. Overall, the infrastructure is top class and the only thing that I think should be considered is opening a night canteen.

I am enjoying my life at this Institute. Every Institute has some downsides, and so does this Institute, but it is improving over time. There are active clubs for various activities ranging from coding clubs to art clubs; you will surely find a club of your interest. I want to mention that the events and fests conducted here are comparatively lesser than other Institutes in my opinion.Read Full Review

The infrastructure of the Institute is nice. In my opinion the slight changes required can be improved.

Here Institute life is quite fascinating. Two fests are held here, one cultural fest named MOKSHA in April most probably and the other tech fest named AAYAM. It has a huge library with availability of almost every type of book. In the campus there is a sports complex with an area for every sport like basketball, badminton, swimming, football, cricket, etc. There are several clubs in the Institute like club for singing, dancing, drama, coding, and further more.Read Full Review

The infrastructure is one thing that is one of the best things among all NITs. We have separate building for every department with laboratory and a central library. There is a hospital and a 24×7 ambulance service for students. There is a sports complex named ABV sports complex, which is one of the biggest Sports complex compared to other NITs. We also have a big auditorium where many events and programs happen from time to time.

Campus life of NIT Agartala is good, if you are looking to enjoy and explore various opportunities along with your academic life. Although it very far away from mainland India, you will not miss your home as you will always be surrounded by students from various states. There are students from every part of country this will give you exposure to rich diversity of NIT Agartala. Different programs are organized by various clubs, which will keep you to be engaged in extracurricular activities. Fest and Dj Nights will give you a lifelong memory.
