NIT Agartala Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

This is my second year at NIT Agartala and I am glad to tell you that I am enjoying my life at this Institute to the fullest. The campus is beautiful and well-built and is also surrounded by lush greenery. I chose this Institute because of its beautiful campus. It’s connectivity to transportation medium is also great. The railway station is around 2 km from the Institute and you can reach the airport from here within 45 minutes. Also, you can easily get this Institute at a decent rank. So, considering all these factors, it's a good Institute. If you have secured a decent rank, this Institute is a good choice.Read Full Review

The exposure of the Institute is quite appreciable. It has various clubs for the upliftment of the student. Since it is a Institute of national importance so students come from almost every corner of the country and one gets an opportunity to learn something from every culture of India. The Institute is spread in 367 acres of land but the Institute buildings are only limited to 77 acres and almost every building is very far from each other which becomes very bad to go from one to another. There is no good canteen and a place to chill in the Institute campus and its located in the outskirts of the city. Here the professors are not that good and supportive. Mostly Ph.D scholars teach in the class. There is lack of professors in the Institute.Read Full Review

NIT-A is one of the top NITs in North-East India. It is situated in Agartala, which is the capital of Tripura state. I have joined it in 2024 through JoSAA. Until now, my experience with this institute is great. Apart from studies, you get a good exposure of clubs, sports and of course the beauty of nature. There are various facilities available for students like hospital, food court and a shopping complex. Overall, it is a good Institute.Read Full Review
