FMS Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The building and the entire campus might look old, but luckily the inside part has been renovated and is being renovated well. Classrooms turned digital and ACs have been installed to make the atmosphere inside the classrooms bearable. The College's auditorium was tiny and even the little strength of FMS couldn't find seats for themselves during the events. The garden at the backend was well maintained as that is the only hangout zone for the students at FMS campus. The canteen was the other one, but there were enough food joints in the vicinity that during the breaks, I used to go there with my friends.

Life at FMS was like a slit throat. If assignments were assigned by College, I would have been okay with getting a few lesser marks. But because most assignments provided were industrial assignments, I had no option but to do them all. As soon as College time ended, although there was no fixed time, whenever it happened, I rushed home and got on with them. A small campus with a small garden and a nice building. The building is good and the classrooms are air-conditioned. The MBA classes were on the 1st floor and the staircase will give you the feel of a palace as they were designed majestically. The backside of the college also has a garden but the building paint has come off and looks so old. The library was also not that big but since the student strength was less it was manageable. The auditorium had 300 seats of high quality and interacting with guests during guest lectures at the auditorium felt like we are at some business conclave. The canteen was of no use and I used to have my tea and snacks outside the college where there are many nice tea stalls and restaurants. The infrastructure of FMS needs a serious look because they lack many facilities and not having them is not an excuse.

FMS have the best of the students and therefore the student interactions were mostly logical. The difference of opinion was evident as when you some of the smartest brains these things tend to happen. However, this has made some of the best speakers and debaters. FMS students can be found in all the leading Fortune 500 companies and that is because of the kind of quality that FMS students provide. FMS was a crash course to survive the toughest conditions and all the students are made so tough that we can survive any situation. FMS is a College and there are no large spaces or hangout spots like in IIT Mumbai or Delhi. The College building, which has gone old, was in much worse condition than it is now. The ceiling paint was going off and the fans were so above the head height that students used to sweat in classes. Luckily, Delhi has a good amount of winters, otherwise, that could have been a mess. Thankfully the campus was renovated 7-8 years back when I last went there and apart from the tea stall which was there then, there is a great canteen at the campus now. For sports lovers or the ones that need a special place to chill with friends, the DU University campus was the only option as FMS individually has nothing exceptional to share about.

If FMS gauging parameters are placements, then FMS is the best B-School after IIMs. However, many might have mistaken that FMS students just study and study is also wrong. Students from FMS are sent to all the competitions organized at DU. FMS students haven't killed at the quizzes or debates, but in dance and sports too. Everything about FMS campus life is related to the world of business, so even the students who did engineering and came here went all blank about their previous life and all that they had in their minds was business.Read Full Review
