K J Somaiya College of Engineering Mumbai Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Infrastructure wise KJSCE is one of the best colleges in Mumbai, maybe even all over India. The classrooms are air conditioned, with comfortable chairs allowing you to focus on the lecture with no discomfort. The buildings are very well maintained. However, the college is quite old but it’s not a major issue and mostly the buildings are greatly designed; You will feel like you are in one of those movie colleges. There are multiple libraries with well stocked books on all sorts of topics that are accessible throughout the day till 10 PM. The college has top class sports amenities. A huge track ground, indoor badminton, tennis, volleyball courts, basketball court, swimming pool, and all sorts of other sports. So, for someone looking to make a career in sports, or even as a side hobby, the college is perfect.

Extracurricular activities are happening all the time, there isn’t a week that goes by without these activities happening, and your college email inbox will be filled with information about them. Though, I have yet to experience the fests, and do not have much to say about them. From what I have heard from seniors, other students, and social media; the fests here are one of the best, something to really look forward to while making tons of memories. Various club options are available in all sorts of fields; you are not restricted to only Engineering related fields. The infrastructure of K J Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai is amazing. Campus is of 63 acres in Ghatkopar. Library has both course and non course books. Issuing of books is hassle free as they have library management systems. The classrooms have a seating capacity of 70 students and all the classrooms are air conditioned. The labs, seminar halls, and auditoriums are air conditioned with a good capacity. The canteen is clean and has delicious food. The college has every sports facility you can count. Medical and security is all covered in our college. The best part of this college is its huge space.

The campus life is great. Many fests are conducted over the year and the crowd is also nice. There are many clubs more than one can count. I am not a part of any club. Extracurricular activities are also crazy in this college like modeling, dancing, swimming, sports, singing, art, etc. The annual fest of my college is ‘Symphony’ which is the best. It is for straight 3 days, celebrated with music, DJ, concerts, and lots of other fun filled activities. I think, I’ve done a great job in choosing this college. It is super fun.Read Full Review

There are many colleges which come under Somaiya University and one of them is Engineering College with 2 huge buildings for engineering. Also we have cricket ground, volleyball court, tennis court, football ground, running track and swimming pool and many other sports facilities. Also the college has mainly 3 gates to enter and exit.

The overall campus life is engaging and the crowd is decent and good. One can have a good friend circle here. There are many clubs in the college like coding club, racing club, and many other clubs in which students can participate as per their choice. Also there are 2 main fests one is Abhiyantriki- the technical fest which is during October and Symphony- the cultural fest that is organised during February or March which is memorable for life.Read Full Review
