St. Xavier's College B.A Fees Structure 2025 & Admission Process, Jaipur

I am pursuing my Bachelor in English Literature; this course allows me to cater to my interests in literature and art. The admission is conducted on the basis of percentage scored by the students in their board exams. They also have to go through the document verification procedure. The exams are conducted as per the guidelines issued by the University of Rajasthan. The College also conducts mid semester exams to evaluate and prepare the students for the end semester exams. The College conducts field visits to provide their students with real life experiences in their respective fields. They offer a variety of multidisciplinary courses and certificate courses. The College helps students who are preparing for competitive exams by providing them with certain study materials. The College aims to support the best interest of their students.

The fee structure of the College ranges from Rs. 78,000/- to Rs. 1,20,000/- depending upon the course chosen by the students. I paid Rs. 78,000/- for my first year and for the second and third year, I had to pay Rs. 60,000/- each year. The course chosen by me is BA (Hons.) in Political Science. The course teaches various additional subjects like International Relations, Political Thinkers, etc. It prepares you for competitive exams like UPSC. Field trips, Mock parliament sessions, guest lectures and much more are conducted by the department. The college is affiliated to Rajasthan University; hence, exams are conducted by the university. Midterm exams are also conducted by the college. Assessments are given for extra credit marks. The eligibility criteria for the same are minimum 80% in class 12th standard. The admission process can be carried out online as well as offline, from the official website of the college.

Due to NEP, the college follows a semester system. The fee is collected every semester. The fee for each department is different. For BA (honors) the fee for 1st year starts from Rs. 75,000 per annum. For the following years, it is Rs. 67,000 per annum. I chose Psychology as my major and English as my secondary subject. The entry requirements to take admission in this course are 60% in your class 12th boards. Anybody from any background can take admission in this course. The admission process was smooth and didn't take time. The HOD was pretty helpful and provided all the required information such a fees and placement opportunities. There were internal exams with a gap of at least 5 to 6 months and it usually takes place twice a year The College conduct one main exam at the end of the academic year. The practical exam provides exposure to the students who want to become a counselor and Clinical Psychologist in future. I believe my course prepares an individual well for future.

The fee of my course was Rs. 1,95,000/- for three years in which I paid Rs. 75,000/- in the first year and Rs. 60,000/- in the second year. The first year fee includes the admission and the registration fee along with additional SWAYAM course fee. The College provides scholarship to the students in which one is merit based scholarship which provides several benefits. In the end of the year, there was another scholarship which was based on the attendance of the students. If the student have more than 75% attendance then the students can avail this scholarship.Read Full Review
