The institution has a well-designed curriculum, on par with international standards in my opinion. My three- year course of Bachelor of Commerce included subjects well-distributed across the period, which does not feel like a burden, while also being able to learn and comprehend well. The subjects include accountancy, economics, mathematics or computer, English and general awareness in the first year of study. Although the college follows Pune University syllabus, there is additional syllabus designed to expand students’ knowledge and provide modern, updated knowledge. The college arranged guest lectures from experts from around the world to enhance our knowledge about the ongoing and important aspects of the sector.

I was reluctant regarding the curriculum at first, the institution made me develop interest and learn better. The assignments have often helped me to open myself up to the real world and understand practical applications of the subjects. The college ended at 11 am, thus it was possible for me to involve in internship or study some other course. SCAC also offers diploma in Liberal Arts, and this can be pursued for those who intend to expand their horizon. In B.Com there is hardly any special learning that you have to study for months and months before the exams. The attendance at the college is not at all strict and one can get away only if they are present during submissions and practicals. There were 5 sections of 120 students each. During the first month, everyone was regular but after 3 months out of 120 in each class only 20 remained and the remaining 100 would have been lying in a bed of roses at the home as Pune’s weather is so beautiful that it makes you lazy. Other than academic though there are so many things to learn at the Symbiosis that is if you get involved in those.Read Full Review
