Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure is well maintained and amazing. The size of campus is very large we have the Asia's biggest library that Ratan Tata Library but we don't have any sports complex or a big ground to play sports we have a canteen and seminar hall we have different building for MBA students and the favorite place I feel that is JP Tea stall which is in the campus. The classrooms are big and in every class room there is one AC.

Infrastructure is good. It is situated in north campus of DU near KMC, Ramjas and Hindu college. Classrooms are structured with AC, fans, and lights. Classroom capacity is 150 to 160. There is library and e- library facility with free Wi-Fi, Conference hall with capacity of 200 people. Canteen is in college premises with affordable price. My favorite is reading in e-library with comfortable until 8:00 PM and the college campus which very cool and comfort.

Overall, it is very nice experience in Delhi School of Economics. All friends are supportive seniors as well. There is quite crowd in college until 4:00 PM. One thing I like most is group discussion in college campus, which gave nice knowledge and experience. There no much fest in DSE due to rigorous curriculum but events likes seminars and panel discussion in every month in the college. The Infrastructure of the college is first class. There are 4 departments Economics, Sociology, commerce and geography. The economics block is the first you encounter when enter from the gate. There is a 3 floor big library called Ratan Tata library. The reading room is occupied almost till 8 pm. The economics block also has a computer lab which is also mostly occupied throughout the day. The lecture halls have a capacity to accommodate around 150 people while the classrooms have seating capacity for 60 - 100 depending on the size. The canteen is almost attached to the backside of the eco block and the JP stall is adjacent to it. Most of the time after lecture is over there are only students. My favorite place is the stall as it is throughout lively and a good place to eat and chit chat with your friends. The Lecture halls and classrooms have projectors and white board to complement offline and online teaching stuffs.

The course is rigorous which is why there is only one official society the placement cell which manages almost everything. If you have enrolled in the course then you should forget about college life and focus on the course as it will take almost all your time. Although it is in north campus so students could go to other colleges like Kirori Mal or Ramjas to attend fests. The college regularly organizes lectures from eminent personalities in the field of economics which is extremely enriching.Read Full Review
