I chose this particular Institute for my Masters as it has graduated prominent Economists, Sociologists, and Corporate leaders. It holds seminars of distinguished speakers and it has a very active Placement Committee. If you want quality and affordability in education, the Institute is the best choice.

I am currently pursuing Masters in Economics, as I wanted to do research and data analysis that is why I chose it. To get admission, you have to clear CUET PG exam, which is a heavily competitive exam in itself. To be eligible, you should have opted Mathematics in 12th class / NIOS certificate and you have qualified Bachelor’s degree. Exams are very frequent in Institute to assess the overall readiness of students for final exams. The exams are theoretical conceptual and require thorough understanding of concepts. It prepares us for real life challenges very well.

The fees for Economics was Rs. 12,939/- per annum. A.N. Ram Scholarship is offered to the students who belong to economically weaker sections of the society.

Faculty members are great and possess deep knowledge of subject they teach. They have a strong quantitative and theoretical ground as they have studied from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi School of Economics, Indian Statistical Institute, and Madras School of economics between other equally prestigious Private and Government Institutions. Teacher to student ratio is good as well. They are approachable and we have office hours. They do not turn us down if we have a doubt. They teach through mixture of PPTs, group discussions, and blackboards. Problem solving abilities are amazing.

Placement Cell has been doing a great job in recruitment process. It provides study material and guide us about how to develop employment skills. Companies like Polestar, Amex, MasterCard, Barclays, etc. are some of the renowned companies to visit the Institute.

No, Institute does not offer residential facilities.

Campus has 2 academic blocks for Economics. We have a lecture theatre where classes are taken. Campus is small & is located in North Delhi. Library, Seminar Hall, and Auditoriums are spacious. My favorite campus facility is computer labs. They complement our academic experience as we can do our work quietly there. Canteen is scanty but it has many food options. Guards are present to maintain security of the Institute.

My overall campus life in DSE DU New Delhi is amazing. Institute crowd is full of intellectuals and genuinely kind people. We all help each other in projects assignments and coursework. DSE organised qawallis and annual 3-day fests. We even have annual days. I am not a part of any club but we have research club, badminton club & football club.
