XIME hostels are within the campus providing decent accommodation facilities to the hostellers. Admission to the hostel is done yearly. Other than being expelled after disciplinary misconduct, the hostellers are not allowed to leave mid-session. They are liable to pay for the entire year’s hostel fee even if they are permitted to leave the hostel under special cases.
The aim behind providing good housing facilities is:
- Students from outstation don’t have to face trouble in finding safe accommodation.
- Scholars don’t have to waste time commuting between the residence and the campus while living in the hostel.
- Several facilities like the internet and library can be used by the hostellers regularly.
- A good positive learning environment is created.
- Participation in various group activities and discussions can be done at ease as the hostellers can enjoy themselves without having to worry to reach anywhere else on time.
Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship hostel has many facilities such as dhobi (clothes washer-man) facilities are given to the inmates on extra pay. Purified water is available on each floor. Water cooler and hot running water facilities are also given.
XIME Bangalore hostel rooms are spacious. The management provides the scholars with a small bed, chair, study table, and bookshelf. And, the students are required to bring a mattress, pillow, pillow covers, sheets, blankets, bucket, mug, towels, and all other stuff required for personal use along with them.
Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship hostel canteen is operated on a contract basis. The food is good in taste and a mess committee is assigned to design the menu and canteen-related matters. Food is served at specified times and the students have to follow the schedule to avail of the facility.
XIME Hostel rules are strict.
- Scholars are requested to maintain discipline in the hostels. Any kind of negligent violation of rules may lead to expulsion.
- Hostellers have to return to their respective hostels by 9:00 pm and 9:30 pm on Saturdays. Scholars have to record their attendance through the biometrics system daily.
- Any kind of health issue has to be notified to the warden with immediate effect.
- Strict silence must be maintained after 9:00 pm. Creating any kind of disturbance or usage of the entertainment-related electronic device is not allowed post 9:00 pm.
- No guest is allowed to stay in the hostels. There is a separate residence built for guests.
- There is no objection to using the mobiles without causing any disturbance to the inmates.
- The management expects the students to keep their assigned rooms clean.
- Under the hostels’ safety guidelines, the usage of heavy electrical gadgets is strictly prohibited.
- Consuming any illegal substance is not permitted.
