NIFT Hyderabad Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Hyderabad offers hostels amenities only to the female and non-local students on a first come first serve basis. Additionally, the hostels have beautiful infrastructure and state-of-the art amenities.

Girls’ hostel of the NIFT Hyderabad has around 238 rooms where approximately 470 students can stay comfortably. All the rooms have sufficient living amenities. In addition to this, the NIFT Hyderabad hostel fees is Rs. 60,000/- per annum, excluding security, admission & mess charges.

In order to reside at the residences provided by the Institution, students need to fill the application form and submit the hostel fees at the time of NIFT Hyderabad Admission via Online transaction or Demand Draft.

Note: In addition to this, students need to submit the security amount (refundable) & hostel admission fee (one-time) of Rs. 10,000/- & Rs. 2500/-, respectively along with the fee of 1^st year.

Students need to obey the NIFT Hyderabad hostel rules and regulations which are listed below:

• Ragging is strictly banned within the Institution’s hostels.
• Boarders are not allowed to leave the residential premises after 9:30 PM and the gates will get closed by 10:30 PM. Moreover, disciplinary actions will be taken against the students who arrive at the hostel after specified timings which include fine, expulsion from the hostels, etc.
• A roll-call will be taken at 10:15 PM & all the residents need to be present at their significant rooms.
• It is compulsory for all the hostellers to reside at their allotted hostel rooms & they cannot change it without having permission from the warden. Moreover, safety of their precious belongings is in their own hands.
• In case inmates wish to leave the hostel premises overnight, they need to take permission from the wardens & parents.
• Time between 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM is considered as ‘Silence Hours’. During this time, all the students are expected to maintain a peaceful atmosphere within the Institution’s residential spaces.
• Smoking, chewing tobacco, consumption of alcohol, and use of other intoxication substances are not permitted at the accommodation of the Institution.
• During their time at the accommodations, students are not allowed to damage or harm any of the hostel property.
• Use of electrical appliances is strictly banned within the hostels of the Institution.

The accommodation amenities are available at the campus of the Institute for the outstation students. The girls’ hostel has around 238 rooms (88 for freshers and 150 for seniors) with all the adequate amenities for around 470 students to stay comfortably. Additionally, about 8 guest rooms, multipurpose hall, resource centre, etc. are present for the students.

Other amenities present at the NIFT College Hyderabad hostels are indoor and outdoor sports facilities, gymnasium, medical facilities via Doctor, round the clock security, and many others. Moreover, each hostel has competent staff members such as wardens, in-charges, guards, and many others to offer excellent accommodation experience to the students.

Mess Fees

Students of the NIFT Hyderabad hostels are required to submit the mess charges separately on a different payment account by filling in the form. Additionally, the mess fees of the Institution is Rs. 30,000/- per year.
