Lady Irwin College New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Lady Irwin was set up in 1932 so have a beautiful infrastructure. They have updated their infrastructure to keep up time. A completely new block was inaugurated in 2019. College is set up in quite a big area. Location of college usually attracts students. It is located in Mandi house, at a walking distance from metro station. Being in middle of Delhi there are many places to visit. As for infrastructure classroom are spacious. Library, several labs, seminar hall, auditorium, conference hall are present. There is front lawn, back lawn, computer lab and sports room for student. Medical facility is also provided by college. College has great collection of books and e resource is available. The beauty of campus is mesmerizing.

Campus life is of ups and down like any other college but it's enjoyable. The crowd here is very good. They are supportive and everyone is to help you. Seniors are always present to guide you, help you; they will be your friend. There are several societies in college for dancing, singing, art, environment, photography, drama, street play and many more. Many events are held in college, like sports day, Diwali celebration, Bollywood Day, Ted Talk etc. Annual fest also take place, it includes dj night and other day and artist is called. Area of Lady Irwin College New Delhi is around 16.5 acres. It has has five departments, each having different blocks, highly functional labs, conference room, an auditorium and proper sitting areas. The classroom has a capacity of about 100 students, and the rooms are well ventilated and facilitate a friendly environment. There is one common library for everyone, and separate library for every department. We can play several games like Basketball, Badminton, Carrom, Chess, and Volleyball. The Campus has a canteen, one medical room, security and various other facilities which makes it student friendly. My favourite thing about the infrastructure is the library where I spend most of my time. The seminars and conferences organised by the Institution provides us with the practical knowledge that we need in today's growing world.

The Campus is really huge and has a really good crowd. There are lots of societies and clubs, where the students can showcase their talents and build self confidence. Apart from studies, we can participate in various societies like drama, singing and many more. The College organises a lot of fest and festivals so that the everyone can enjoy while learning. Lady Irwin College, Delhi is known for one of the best infrastructure in DU. There are different blocks for each department, library, highly functional labs, proper seating arrangements, hall, AC, Wi-Fi facilities, Auditorium, canteen, Basket ball court, front and back lawn, medical room etc. are there. My favourite place in the whole college is the front lawn, it is huge and from there, my college looks beautiful. This entire infrastructure highly reflects how good academics are there in our college.

I'm still in 3rd year and my campus life is good. The campus is beautiful, full of greenery. I'm the president of the fine arts society of my college and it gave me a lot, I've learned a lot. There are 16 societies in my college and they help individuals to interact more with people around you and enhance your personal growth. We have our annual cultural fest that is ‘Quintessence’. It is held every year and is just mesmerizing. My experience is really amazing in this college and I'll highly recommend it to someone who wants to do there's bachelor's in Food Technology or Home Science.Read Full Review
