    IIIT Allahabad has 5 Boys' Hostels
    I have opted for the B.Tech in Information Technology course. For taking the same course you will have to give JEE Main and get a percentile above 99. The cut off changes every year. Only students who are excellent at academics get to join this Institute. Exams are conducted twice per semester inkling mid-sem and end-sem. But some Quizzes and Lab tests are conducted before the mid-sem and end-sem exam. The difficulty level of these exams is quite high.
    The annual fee for my course is Rs. 1,30,000/- which includes Mess, Hostel, and Academic fees. The fee is quite low for SC/ST students amounting to Rs. 50,000/- per semester. There are other scholarships also like the ‘PM-YASASVI’ scheme which is mainly for the OBC students. Merit-based scholarships are also awarded to the students with a high CGPA.Read Full Review

    There is Placement Division at IIIT Allahabad
    All industry related streams like Data Structures & Algorithms, Web Development, Cyber Security, and so on are included in the course curriculum structure. Academic-wise, it is definitely one of the best Institutions. The seniors provide their juniors with all necessary things that are required to study like notes, PYQs, and everything important. So you don't have to worry about academics and can get a good CGPA.
    The course fee for the General category is higher than the other categories. For students from the SC/ST category, the tuition fee is free and only the Hostel and Mess charges are applied.Read Full Review

    Annual Cultural-Tech Fest of IIIT Allahabad is Known as 'Effervescence'
    I chose IT but other branches are good as well. I would suggest you to get IT-BI instead of ECE if you have the opportunity to do so. The academics here are updated and good for industry. Admission at this Institute require decent marks in JEE Main exam with good ranks. The admission process is the same as all other Government Institutions and they also provide a list of all the documents required.
    The semester fee of this Institute is approximately Rs. 1,00,000/-. There are discounts available for SC/ST/PWD categories.Read Full Review
