Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology Kochi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus has three academic blocks- KE block, PG block and the main block. The campus is very large and has many facilities. The Institute is located in close proximity to the busiest area in Kochi. The classrooms are equipped with projectors. The Institute offers many academic facilities ranging from libraries, state-of-the-art labs for the enrichment of students and also a gigantic auditorium, seminar halls and others. The canteen offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meal options to the students. There is a well-maintained Cricket ground and a huge Football ground along with a large athletic track, Basketball courts and Badminton court. There are first-aid facilities and medical rooms available and around 20 buses for the transportation of the students. My favorite thing about the Institute is undoubtedly the gym, which I visit during evenings to ease myself.

The overall campus life is average . The Institute crowd is usually very nice and all the students ranging from the seniors to the juniors share a joyous rapport. There are many student-driven clubs available to join in the Institute for activities ranging from Reading, Cinema, Dance, and Music to other similar extracurricular activities. I am part of the Reading club. The Institute offers many extracurricular activities like arts and sports fests for the students known as ‘Bharatham’ and ‘Ranabhoomi’ respectively. Nearly 100-acre campus with some of the most remarkable buildings and a lush green campus was a sight to behold forever. There was a small lake, and because it rains quite heavily in the state, the lake was never short of water. There are during my days 6 blocks of academic which also had administration blocks. One block was getting ready as I believe they have differentiated the academic and admin block. There’s a residential facility at the campus for visiting faculties or was used for making students stay if they are on the wrong side of numbers at the prelims. Inside has a lot to talk about so I will discuss about what was close to the campus. The campus positioning is definitely the best as almost all the brand food outlets such as McDonald's, KFC, Lil America, and Slice of Spice were within a touching distance from the college. The Infopark is also close to the college, and the city's five-star hotels like Novotel, Hill View and Sheraton are also close to the college’s locality.

Some clubs hardly take you in unless you have a firm reference. The seniors mostly mind their own business, so I barely knew who my seniors were. Even though there’s a sports ground, it was used only during competitions as we were never allowed to use the facilities for practice. Thus, campus life is not so great at Rajagiri.Read Full Review
