IMT Ghaziabad Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

The IMT Ghaziabad has Management Development Resource Centre (MDRC) Hostel block which offers separate accommodation facilities for both male and female students. It’s compulsory for all the students to stay at on-campus hostel during the entire duration of their respective course. At the on-campus hostels, students are provided with ample amenities which make their stay comfortable and memorable.

The hostels of IMT Ghaziabad can accommodate around 500 students and have rooms in multiple occupancies. Each room at the hostel has all the basic amenities such as cots, mattresses, study table, wardrobes, and chairs.

The students are required to pay the specified accommodation fee in order to avail the residential facilities. The IMT Ghaziabad hostel fees for both male and female students ranges from Rs. 84,900/- to Rs. 90,900/- per year (including mess charges).

Following are some of the rules that all the students need to follow in order to maintain the discipline at the hostel premises:

• The rooms are allotted by the head of the administration and the students cannot switch their rooms without the prior approval of the respective authorities.
• Residents cannot leave the hostel after 9:00 PM. Moreover, they cannot enter the premises after 10:00 PM.
• All the installations or equipment such as fans, bulbs, tubelights, chairs, etc. are issued by the Institute at the time of room allocations and students are required to return all these items at the end of the academic session.
• Illegal practices such as consumption of alcohol, smoking, gambling, and others are not allowed in the hostel premises and the students found involved in all these activities may be expelled from the hostel.
• Hostellers need to adhere to the mess timing specified by the Mess Committee.
• The students are prohibited to carry any food or utensils from the mess in their rooms.
• All the residents are required to keep their room clean and should not damage the hostel properties intentionally.
• The students are not allowed to cook food and keep any electrical appliances with them. Violating this rule will lead to a fine.
• Ragging is strictly prohibited in the hostel premises; students found guilty will have to face the consequences for the same.
• The students of the opposite gender are not permitted to visit each other's hostel at any point of time.

At IMT Ghaziabad Campus, the girls’ hostel has rooms on single & double occupancy and the boys’ hostel includes rooms on 2 sharing basis. The rooms at both the hostels are air-conditioned & fully furnished with adequate facilities like cots, beds, mattresses, etc.

The mess at the hostel provides a 4 time meal including breakfast, lunch, snacks & dinner and offers both vegetarian & non-vegetarian food to the students as per their requirements. Additionally, there are separate air-conditioned dining halls for the students and other staff members on different floors. The dining building can accommodate around 600 people at a time.

The management has also appointed a warden to maintain a peaceful environment at the hostel premises. Apart from this, there are various hostel facilities available for all the residents such as libraries, seminar halls, reading halls, and many others.
