IMT Ghaziabad Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

My preparations for joining a B-School from the second year of my graduation course. IMT Ghaziabad is one of the best B-Schools as a percentile of 85 is required to get admissions here. IMT don't compete with IIMs but are next to them in terms of studies and placements. Most students who do PGDM from here had some work-experience and that was a disadvantage for around 30% of the crowd as we were in the minority. The class size at IMTG is high, but the College has still maintained a placement record of 90% or more. Students who have an excellent track record are placed first, and the ones with poor grades have to wait after the intelligent ones and the ones who have prior work experience to get placed and then come their opportunity. I was in both the brackets and still had a good enough placements, so getting here is tough, but getting placed from here is not at all tough.Read Full Review

I was employed at an IT company and used to take home a nice salary. I was in financial crunch as I was not satisfied with my salary and decided to prepare for the MBA program as all the MBA candidates in my offices were taking home thrice the salary then what I took. At times, my engineering degree felt nothing and one fine day I decided to continue with the job and at the same time prepare for the entrance as well. IMT is next to IIMs and so you can imagine the toughness quotient that is required to get here. Also, the batch size is huge and though all are placed but it becomes difficult to apply to all the companies because they call for interview after taking our academic track record from the college. Poor grade students have to wait for their opportunity but even they get placed. For me it was magical as along with my grades my work experience also counted and at the end it was on me to choose from the three companies that chose me.Read Full Review

IMT Ghaziabad is definitely a goldmine and for those who doubt can check the rankings. IMT Ghaziabad has been ranked among the top-10 B-Schools in India ever since the ranking system has been introduced. Student’s intake every year is over 600 but the college has the enough infrastructure and resources to make sure the students who stay at the campus feel home here. IMTG is definitely the best choice for students who want to make a career in Finance. Even Marketing and HR are renowned but for PGDM (Finance) the college is ranked best to none in the country. You can weigh in all the options that are there in this review and you will know that after IIMs, IMTG is the best B-School in the country. The club committee culture of IMTG is highly active. Every day we will have some events lined up and even if I on the other side that is enjoying the event from the crowd, I still loved it.Read Full Review
