Jamia Millia Islamia University New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Campus is of 251 acre with north and south campus divided with full greenery and big auditorium. Sports complex with basketball, volleyball, football, etc. facilities also available. Canteen food is good and reasonable and classrooms are ventilated. In addition, there is each lib for each department. The guards and security is very tight and nearest metro station is Jamia metro with holy family hospital nearby. People are from different states and RCA for civil services is also there. There is a moot court room, a separate library with more than 5000 books, and online access to various journals.

Overall campus life is good with good experience until now. I have done few moot and participate in various conferences and done internships. There are various clubs at university level and there is fest season for each department. There are total of around 20k students in physical. Various committees and NCC camp facility are available. The infrastructure of university is fine. However, it has quite a big room for improvement as the university stands much high. In my point of view, JMI can avail us with much better facilities by bring improvements in classrooms, enhancement of visual aids, and climate control facilities.

The campus life, academics, extra-curricular activities, and social events here are pretty nice. Students with a diversity of backgrounds come together to learn and grow harmoniously. There's just something extra to be found on campus about cultural festivals and technical events, which actually forms a significant portion of it. There are so many clubs and associations catering to all types of interests, from sports to literature, where each student finds his or her place. Events such as fests and competitions encourage each one to show our talent and make memories that will last a lifetime. The academic load can be enormous, but there's always that close-knit peer support system and professors easily approachable if things get a bit rough. Jamia Millia Islamia University has stable infrastructure. The main campus has a central library and each department has their own library and reading hall. It has a huge sports complex. Students can access free medical facilities from the Ansari Healthcare Centre & Dental Clinic. It has various canteens at different gates with lots of food options.

The campus life at the university is very structured and orderly. The campus enables comprehensive development of students, be it social engagement or academic opportunities. There are various societies and organisations which conduct the annual fests and events.Read Full Review
