Jamia Millia Islamia University Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, New Delhi

We have a hostel facility with very good food both for vegetarian and non-vegetarian people. Apart from that, the college has free Wi-Fi, cool drinking water, and games are allowed in the hostel with proper CCTV cameras and guards. There is as such no restriction for going out in boys hostel while in girls is 10 pm. Hostel fee is Rs. 39,000 per annum including stay and food.Read Full Review

I don't stay in the hostel but heard a lot from my friends. The university does have hostels. However, they are short of space. In many hostels, the number of students in one accommodation is more than it can take, which becomes a challenge for the ones who stay there. From what I am learning, the hostels are very basic and strategic as they are close to the campus. However, the facilities have been associated with complaints on maintenance as well as cleanliness. Hence availability of rooms is lacking. The demand for these hostels is high whereby students face a lot of problems trying to get a seat especially in their first year.Read Full Review

Jamia is already facing criticism for limited hostel seats, since the hostels fees are very nominal. All the students want to get hostel but unfortunately the seats are not much.Read Full Review
