IIT Mandi

I am a CSE B.Tech student of IIT Mandi. This branch is a new and yet it is well structured, and beautiful. It is situated between stunning mountains in a beautiful state of Himachal Pradesh. There are rivers, lake, different type of trees, and beautiful mountains near about IIT Mandi. The first view institute is really so beautiful. It has 2 campuses, one is North campus and second is South campus. 4th year M.Tech and PhD students live in South campus. Rest of the students live in North campus. All the academic buildings, faculty houses are in North but research lab, playground are in South campus. The distance between these campuses is 3 kilometers. The overall experience of this institute is really very nice. I chose this college because it is an IIT and IITs has good placement, value in market along with best college life, brain, faculty, infrastructure, excellent facilities, etc. Due to all these reasons, every student should go there.Read Full Review

IIT Mandi is very good not only in academics but also in external environment as it is surrounded by mountains and lakes which also help us in concentration towards studies. IIT Mandi is a second generation IIT, established in 2009. Since then, it has been growing consistently. Post covid-19 pandemic, it has developed very abruptly. It is situated between mountains and a river nearby, remote from city though with excellent facilities like research labs, amazing sports facilities and many academic courses. I feel very good being at IIT Mandi as the air is very pure and there is also a religious environment which keeps you connected to your cultural roots. Each and every festival is celebrated here with the same enthusiasm. Many fests are conducted here, at regular intervals and students here can learn many Technical skills as well as can also work on their cultural or literary skills. I did choose this institute because, this institute is going to be the best tier 2 IIT in next few years, which was even suggested to me by my professors at my coaching. I personally feel that it will be compared at the same level as the top 7 IITs within next 20 years.Read Full Review
