The images of the OMR and machine-read responses will be made available to the students on the official website, likely within one week after the exam. If students are not satisfied with the captured answers, they can challenge the same through the official website by paying Rs. 500/- per question. The received challenges will be evaluated & resolved by the WBJEEB.
*It is to be noted that the challenges received by means of email, letter, fax, telephone, etc. will not be accepted for assessment.

Moreover, 2 separate rank lists namely General Merit Rank (GMR) and Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR) will be prepared based on the merit marks of the students in Paper I & Paper II, respectively. Apart from this, separate reserved category merit rank will also be indicated to the SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B / EWS / PwD students. However, this will not be applicable during counselling.
* If candidates require a calculation sheet of their machine-read response then they can request for the same along with a DD of Rs. 500/- in favour of the ‘West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board’, payable at Kolkata. This provision will be available only till 60 days of the announcement of result or till the counselling process concludes, whichever is later.
The conducting body will resolve ties between two or more students with equal marks in JELET 2026 using the following methodology:
For Paper I
The tie-breaking regulations for candidates securing same marks in Paper I are as follows:
For Paper II
The tie between applicants having equal marks in Paper II of WBJEE JELET 2026will be resolved by ranking the once with less negative scores in total in the entrance test.
* If the tie doesn’t break even after applying the last rule for the respective Paper then the older student will be given preference during ranking in the merit list. Following this, to finally break the tie (if unresolved), the ascending order of the application number will be taken into consideration.
After the results of the JELET 2026 are declared, students will have to appear for the counselling process. The schedule for counselling and seat allotment will be notified on the official website shortly after the result announcement. Additionally, the program-wise and Institution-wise seat availability will be communicated.
The sequence order for the JELET Counselling Process 2026 will be done only on the basis of the General Merit Rank (GMR) & Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR). After this, students have to get the requisite document verified and then the JELET Seat Allotment 2026 will be done based on merit in the entrance test.
* In case the documents / any information provided by the applicants is found to be inaccurate then such individuals’ claim for admission will be cancelled.
