Overall Rating
Shaheed Bhagat Singh college is one of the most reputed colleges in south campus of Delhi university. It has one of the best infrastructure and excellent faculties for all courses. SBSC is a renowned college for geography honors which made me to opt this college. The college is not only renowned for its disciplined curriculum but also for its all-around personality development through various clubs and societies and college is fairly active in sports too.
 

Academics Rating
The department of geography of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College has not only sincere students but a sincere and active faculty too. The course provides a vast knowledge of the subject, and its interrelatedness enhances the overall development of students thus creating them a responsible and active citizen. The admission process was merit based and 95.25% were required to opt Geography Honors opens up various opportunities like competitive exams and research fields and many more.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of geography department of Shaheed Bhagat Singh college is superbly excellent. It has well qualified teacher staff almost all of them have Ph.D degrees and are widely known for their research. The faculty and curriculum are very disciplined and sincere, all the classes are held on regular basis, with sincerity towards enhancing students' overall growth. Teachers are very supportive, understanding and friendly and are always in touch and cooperative with the students.
 

Placement Rating
The college provides placements opportunities mostly to the students of commerce background. Companies like HCL, Wipro, Byju's, Urban company and many more. The college provides fair number of internship opportunities to the students which are paid too.
 

Hostel Rating
The college doesn’t provide any hostel facilities to the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college has one the finest infrastructure in Delhi university. It has rainwater harvesting facility, lifts (construction ongoing), girl's common rooms for girls, AC, labs, computers, huge library, sports equipment and a very big sports ground, canteen, BR rooms are allotted for societies, classrooms are spacious, fairly ventilated and projectors.
 

Campus Rating
The college organises various fests and programs. There are various societies for personality development of students and fests are timely organised by the societies. The societies are developed as per the interests of students. The life at campus is enjoyable but hectic too. College fairly participates in various competitions like under university games and also hosts various events.

    It's been more than a year in SBSC New Delhi. Initially when I came to this College, I was not happy as I want to study in the north campus but slowly this College changed my whole point of view.     My experience in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is very good. In my 1st semester I felt Lonely but as of now I am in 2nd semester. I have many friends and it's very enjoyable with friends and spending time with them. Faculty members here are very good. I am from commerce background and all the faculty members who I know are are very good in their field. They also use good technique for teaching.
