My views on IITs

Overall Rating
Actually, for getting a seat into IITs we have to clear JEE Advanced, and which is one of the toughest exams in the world. I thought to opt for this college because it was near to my city, and I am getting a seat in department of chemical engineering. You should go for this because this college has a great infrastructure and many more facilities.
 

Academics Rating
In 1st year all the students have to study some common subjects like English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical and introduction to computing. For getting entry you have to score decent marks in JEE Advanced. Eligibility criteria for all the subjects is 75% attendance and score good grades and also grading system is relative and decided by marks of topper and the lowest marks.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculty members are of friendly nature and many teaching assistants also work under them and help students to fight with their problems. All the facilities have done their Ph.D from well recognised and all the teaching assistants are also currently studying in our college and doing Ph.D. They teach in a way so that every student can understand it.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is Placement Cell in our college which is named as CDPC, and the placement ratios are also good in which CS students have placement percentage of 97% and where mathematics and computing have 100%. It really helps students by recruiting best companies and gives better chance to students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facility for both students and the faculty. Almost all type of facilities is available in our hostels like water coolers, water dispenser, lifts, geysers, washrooms in better conditions, washing machines at each floor, and we also have a common room at ground floor where we can watch TV can do gym, play table tennis etc.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are separate academic blocks for each department like Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and an academic block too where all the work of academic section is taken care of. A new super academic block is also there in which all the departments are there, and it is one of the largest educational buildings in Asia.
 

Campus Rating
Our campus doesn't have lots of people there is proper distribution and campus life is also better than I have thought and are lots of clubs like coding club, robotics club, dance club, debate society, artificial intelligence club, machine learning club, fincom club, and decoration club. Our cultural fest is named as Zeitgeist, and which is one of the largest fests of north Indian region and this time it has prize pool of worth 8 lakhs.
