A great place to explore

Overall Rating
The university is very good as it provides very good education. The way of teaching of teachers is very good. They teach in very good way. They are always ready to help students. The university is also very good. University is fully air conditioned. There are different blocks where we get good teaching.
 

Academics Rating
The course in which I am enrolled is BE-CSE. To take admission in this course we have to pass 12th board examination with aggregate 70% or we can also take admission if we score 70 % in our three main subjects. The motive of taking this program is to become a software engineer and usually many students take admission in this university to pursue BE-CSE.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very good. The way of their teaching is excellent. Usually, all teachers are Ph.D in their respective subjects. They always help their students and motivate students to study more and more so that they can get good jobs for their career. They always help students so that they can increase interest in the respective subjects.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a Placement Cell where students get jobs. From here we can gather information about the companies visit in campus and which languages we should learn. This helps students in a good way.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, I live in hostel and hostel is air conditioned and non-air conditioned. If anyone wants AC room, he can take AC room and if anyone wants non-AC, he can take non-AC where there are air coolers.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are different blocks in our university. For different subjects and languages there are different blocks. For example, there is Newton Block where computers are placed where students can do coding in Python, Java, C++ / C, and other programming languages. These blocks are fully air conditioned so that students don’t feel difficulty in summers during studies.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is very good. There are different students from different states. We can meet students from different courses and almost all students are of friendly nature. There are different clubs like cricket club, football club, etc. and also there are clubs related to coding, singing and different activities. Here different fests are organised in which different celebrities are invited.

    Overall experience at Chitkara University is great except the fact that hostellers have to attend classes at night time i.e. 4:10-9:30, which is very inconvenient as most of us are not used to this shift in timings, but we still manage to study and have fun regardless.
