I am a third-year B.Tech student at the National Institute of Technology, Warangal. Given that NIT is regarded as one of the best colleges and ranked as no 5 in whole India by NIRF and NAAC with an A+ shows the stature of the college, I chose to major in Civil Engineering because I'm interested in architecture and planning construction projects. During my two and half years in nit Warangal there, NIT provided me with positive experiences; the school blends fun with education, in nit along positives negatives also be a little of ragging and wide varieties of people and need to cope up with all those and we can engage with people from diverse backgrounds to learn about their cultures, among other things. This is the finest place to study and have fun, extracurricular activities and academics will be balanced here, giving everyone who wants to build a strong future plenty of opportunities. We do both study and fun, make sure to have good group of friends so you can learn and enjoy, for all the people who wanted to have fun and study and wanted make a good career make their best, NITW is one of the places, I myself had a dream to join here as I loved all the chances we get and how our future be if we join along this college all the chances, facilities we get that made me to come to this college and work for this.
I took civil engineering in this we have 8 semesters, nearly each semester be of 3 to 4 months and after every semester a gap of 1 to 2 months of holidays be given, to go to next semester student need to have a good attendance percentage of 80% in special cases like health issues permissions needed to be taken from respective dept HOD and staff, and other criteria is to pass in end exams a minimum of 30% needed to have and if we don’t like the course that we do we even have a chance to opt for minor or honor course and few regulations and rules will be for opting that, one of the main is having a good college it’s a prior thing, in this civil not only the needed courses are kept, taking a lot of suggestions courses which have more demand in future are opted and labs also be given priority for those only and no special entry requirements just opting this through counseling after doing mains exam, this course also has a good demand along with Computer Science as the importance of government jobs increasing every day.
The teachers are well efficient, every semester, a new faculty member is assigned to each course; these highly educated and Ph.D-holding scholars teach you not only the material covered in textbooks but also the practical, experimental, and field knowledge that is so important. The teachers prefer to speak in English because most students can understand it, but they can also slow down and explain things clearly if necessary. Personal attention is also given; if you need extra help in a particular subject, they help you personally also, but the only problem is understanding what they say as few are from north India the slang of their was different and a little bit hard to understand all their words but eventually you can cope up with them and if needed, they help you personally by saying it in Hindi or English as per our comfort zone, I am interested to do computer science and but in counseling I got civil so I took that and later now I am ok I am exploring all the government job opportunities and more of the work regarding the course.
Yes, our college has one of the largest Placement Cell in the country, with nearly 95 percent of students placed. We also offer internships, core and non-core jobs, and campus jobs. Major corporations such as Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, and Wipro visit our college each year, providing packages that range from 17 LPs to 80 LPs, which is larger than many IITs and prestigious colleges. We make an effort to host lectures when professors and graduates come to talk to us about how to get a job, how to prepare, and other helpful tips for students. And a major help we get from placement cell is they make our super seniors and alumni of our college to come and make meets with them, so by that interaction we can have a full on idea on how to secure the job that is so helpful for us, this institute makes sure that everyone gets a job and tries to give their best from their side, if we do enough work and follow their rules then there are good chances of getting good placements and having brighter future.
Our hostel has a spacious 1.8k hostel for boys and a DASA for international students. All rooms are assigned to two people, and the premises are kept clean, though extra care should be taken. The mess food is delicious, offering a variety of dishes that taste okay, not terrible compared too many other hostels. Hostel life is filled with companionship, late-night movie nights, and an abundance of fun. The wardens and careers provide excellent supervision, enforce strong rules, and penalize students who break the rules such as by ragging or engaging in other inappropriate behavior, and as per my personal opinion if you wanted to have a complete joy in hostel make a good circle of friends and be in touch with your seniors and but few issues also be its not always a complete joy or fun, there be issues of water during summers and only limited water resources be sometimes washrooms won’t be clean and need to adjust beyond this it’s ok about hostels, if your parents come to visit they can stay in guest house provided by college for a night.
Our campus spans 300 acres and is divided into multiple blocks, with each department having its own block from where all the works and HOD and staff members rooms are located, class rooms equipped with all necessary equipment like blackboards, white boards and projector and smart TVs also be there in seminar class rooms which is a lot useful while giving any presentations, an academic building where we can obtain information and have any questions about the college answered and clean, modern restrooms with water filters provided for each floor, and classrooms with the necessary number of benches. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors, and each department has seminar halls with fully air-conditioned also and all the buildings, dept have their own specified labs, and most we had good machinery useful for doing big experiments, water filters be provided in each floor and cleaned properly and hygienic.
Campus life is good overall, we have one of the biggest cultural events held in India named spring spree where nearly 3 to 5 days it held and all the celebrities will come to our college at that time and take a participation so that we be more happy and we enjoy with all our friends, we can even organise our own food stalls and sell to customers and if we are a part of students council we get a chance to go to different states regarding inter nits and doing all college related works, and every year there will be a north trip in that we can go along friends and lots of memories and fun we can have and not only these when coming too fest not only joy we can also have science fests like techno zion and app developments activities and we will have many clubs and every club works for different zone like in astronomy club we involve to know science of starts and all related stuff, there be coding club where seniors take sessions making to learn about what and coding is and gives a lot of knowledge So finally all the life be good, lots of crowd come to college while these events and it’s a kind of dream vibe we get during those days.

An excellent GATE score is required for admission to M.Tech. NITW is one of the best NITs in the country. Among the best things about the college, I will start with its infrastructure. Fountain gardens, pollution-free, and great scenic beauty made the campus so beautiful place to live in. Above all it’s the faculty that makes or breaks a college, and NIT Warangal faculty were not just experts but fully dedicated as well. There are many notable alumni from NITW who have not done well in corpora... Read Full Review

Firstly, it was a massive honor for me to study at NIT Warangal which is luckily in the south but not dominated by south Indian students. This was my first comfort and then the comfort became such that even after pursuing PG, I remember all the four years that I spent here. An AIEEE rank of below 2000 is all that it requires to get admissions here. Yes, arguably it is one of the best NITs and mind you not just in academics but in other activities too. The management and faculties were quite clea... Read Full Review
