Hindu College Helps in Achieving your Dreams

Overall Rating
The Hindu College New Delhi has taught me one thing in 2 years and that is to stay relevant. I always wanted to do something beyond studies and this College definitely is the one, which provides perfect platform for it. Needless to mention about academics here as that is by far the best here but beyond that too, Hindu College can help a student having an overall development and perception.
 

Academics Rating
Academics are such that you are caught in an immediate then. Like this year our classes started in August, it is just a month, and we have our internals going. I will mention good things, which stuck out here in regards to academics. First of all, academics here never go out of context. All the projects and assignments that we were given were related to our subjects. Secondly, yes in DU, its textbook oriented teaching but not at this College as we have to learn much more beyond the syllabus.
For Kashmiri students, there is already a scholarship and so I just had to pay Rs. 26,000/- for a year. Students who want this scholarship had to fill KM (Kashmiri Migrant) scholarship form to avail this.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties in our College are Ph.D degree holders in areas like Data Science, Math, and Statistics. A lot of them have published research papers in various top journals. They keep themselves updated with all the latest trends and above all them. In addition, they discuss real world data issues from the world of finance and technology as they have industrial links. Therefore, in my eyes, they are doing more than what management would have asked them to.
 

Placement Rating
From finance to tech, Statistics students are always in demand. College placements are arguably among the best. ‘Disha’, which is our Placements Cell, has dropped the median package list course wise and B.Sc Statistics (Hons.) stream was at the peak of this list.
 

Hostel Rating
Unfortunately, the College has a 'Smt. Indu Punj Girls’ Hostel'. Boys’ hostel soon will be available as construction is almost completed now.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Various academic facilities are available at the College campus. The main canteen of the Hindu College is a really good. In addition, it has indoor seating arrangements. Then we have an open Kiosk too & it is expensive but good enough for beverages. Sports facilities too are extremely good. Labs and classes are definitely the most impressive part of our Hindu College Infrastructure.
 

Campus Rating
Being a Kashmiri student, we have always been a point of discussion. Therefore, I do have political ambitions and this College is the only one with a virtual parliament. All the national issues are discussed here and debates here are also honestly. There are 5 to 6 political societies here. apart from that too, one can have any interest that they have as we have diverse societies in our College. Therefore, for me, campus life here has been the biggest surprise as I got much more than what I expected.

    This year I started studying at Hindu College as a B.Sc Statistics student and my experience till now has been definitely satisfying. The second I heard I got in this college, I was ecstatic.
