BJB Autonomous College B.Com Review By Chiranjibi Behera

I choose BJB autonomous college because of its exposure to many more fields i.e. study, sports, cultural activities, NCC, Army, Navy, etc. There are very fantabolous faculties. They teach us with practical examples with smart classes. A seminar is held in every week. We learn many things from the seminar. There is a tournament held every year called BSL (BJB SUPER LEAGUE). We shared a lovely brotherhood by coordinator each other to give a grant success to the occasion. I always admire to our seniors. They are very humble to us. Ragging is not any more in our college. We are changing our college atmosphere. We celebrated the success of chandrayan 2. We Organize the show to telecast the world cup ICC Cricket Tournament 2023 Final. We also participated in 2023 Hockey Cricket World Cup, Bhubaneswar. We always keep discipline in our college. We respect our honorable faculties. We cooperate each other. We arrange a small fresher party every year for the new comers. We celebrate ganesh puja grandly. The college atmosphere is very good that's why it's most reputed college in Odisha.

As I am from B.Com back ground so I could provide the academic details about B.Com. There are so many seats for B.Com as compared to other branches. After 12th result students can apply for admission through SAMS website. So they should have 12th qualified minimum score shall be approx 85% for General category and 60 to 70% for SC / ST category. So students after getting intimation from college they can directly come to admission department as the date they have instructed by authorities, then the process for applications will be started. If they face some trouble regarding those they can contact to our seniors and us.

Faculties are just awesome. Their teaching quality, practical knowledge, and other qualities give us immense knowledge about the core field. As in B.Com we learn income tax, financial accounting, corporate, and other laws. These help us practically to learn how the tax will be calculated, how the penalties of law will be imposed, and how accounts to be done for the purpose accomplished. These help us so much.

There is only placement facilties for IMBA and ITM students. As I said I belong from B.Com, so I don't have any experience about this. But you can connect to students union for this.

I am a day scholar so I don't have so much knowledge about hostel. But I have some friends in hostel so they are saying hostel is good for them with proper food and sanitization.

Our college is a vast college and a big campus. There are two types of block mainly one is arts block and other one is science and commerce block. Arts block is a new building having 8 floors with lift system. Many uncountable class rooms till now, I can't able to see all the class rooms. Our college has a good cricket ground where state level matches are held. There are3 hostels.

We have a big campus with full students. We gathered there for every meeting on the stage. We always learn from our seniors how to organize a successful program. Our principal is a great supporter to us. He is a humble man. We organize a fest every year. We have NGC CLUB, BJB ALUMINI CLUB, etc. Everyone one is cooperative to each others.
