Review of International Institute of Information Technology, Raipur

Overall Rating
The institute is good in every aspect infrastructure. Classes are well maintained with AC and projectors. Labs have computers with good specifications I7 10th gen 8/16GB RAM. Hostels and mess are better than other NITs mess food is good. Girls and boys hostel are different. Double rooms are given till 2nd year and from 3rd year you can choose single room. Overall it is good college. I would rate it 4 out of 5.
 

Academics Rating
In B.Tech that is of 4 years you have three branches as options to select CSE, DSAI, and ECE. To get admission you need to qualify for JEE mains. Course curriculum is always updated as per industry requirements. Last curriculum was updated for 2022 batch onwards. 75% attendance is mandatory, but sometimes it depends on faculty too. Few faculties don’t care much about attendance or gives extra relaxation.
 

Faculty Rating
All faculties are well qualified for the job of teaching. They are doing well and improving after every semester. Example: from now onwards to 1st semester students they teach programming language in C and python. The professor of C is giving assignment from leetcode and codeforces which is beneficial for students in long term. Like this all the professor are good enough for building your skills and helping you explore your domain.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is always good. Almost everyone gets placed (imp: who are eligible). Placement are not magic you have to work hard for it. Seniors guides us in direction which helps in getting placement/internships.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are mandatory for every student. There are 4 hostels. 3 for boys and 1 for girls. For 1st and 2nd year you have double occupancy room and have to share room with your friend. From 3rd year onwards you can choose single room.
 

Infrastructure Rating
As the campus is newly build so all the infrastructure, buildings are good. Still college is working towards infrastructure. Academic is always open for students. 2 rooms are always open as a reading room so students can stay and study. Library is situated in academic block which is always open and allows student to study there.
 

Campus Rating
There are a lot of clubs in college that conducts extracurricular activities. Fests are conducted once in every year. Technical clubs are also there which conducts activities like competitive programming in which college students can take part and improve skills and help in engaging students of college.

    My experience in IIIT Raipur is very good; you get nice exposure and an opportunity to get into different streams and clubs according to your interests. Some factors which made me choose this Institute is the Campus has limited number of offered courses like Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Electronics and Computer Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering, you can also find Ph.D and M.Tech scholars here....     I am a student of International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Raipur. My experience at this Institute had been good so far and I am a second year student. The Infrastructure is even though it was established in 2015. The campus withholds all the facilities needed by the students and also the seats for each branch are increased from 60 students to 90 students.   • IIIT Naya Raipur's Campus is Situated 23 KMs Away from the Main City

    One thing about IIIT Naya Raipur is that it offers a good career and a balanced campus life. Our Institute is located 23 Kilometers from Raipur and thus travelling or finding some time off campus is impossible. I still remember one entire semester I didn't went out.
