IIIT Naya Raipur B.Tech Fee is Rs. 2,00,000/- P.A

I am a student of International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Raipur. My experience at this Institute had been good so far and I am a second year student. The Infrastructure is even though it was established in 2015. The campus withholds all the facilities needed by the students and also the seats for each branch are increased from 60 students to 90 students. The Institute also has hostel facilities for the students.

I am currently pursuing B.Tech in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. And it was my priority branch that I wanted during JoSAA Counselling and I got it. I am very satisfied with my decision and have no regret about not choosing some other Institute over this Institute. If you are coming through JoSAA, you must secure 75%+ in 12th board exam and clear JEE. The admission process of this Institute is completely offline. If I talk about frequency of the exams in our branch, the professor of each subject take quizzes (at least 3 quizzes in each semester) and mid-term exam are there for some particular subjects. At the end of each semester, there is end-term examination for each subject. And if we talk about curriculum of my course, it is good but slightly stressful as the first semester contains 10 subjects and 2nd semester have 11 subjects. In my current semester I have 10 subjects and one minor project. The curriculum here is focused on the theoretical aspects more, so, being a student here, it would be your responsibility to learn to integrate the theoretical aspects in real-world scenarios.

The fees structure of this Institute for my course is approximately Rs. 2,00,000/- per year and it is the same for other 2 branches as well (CSE and ECE). The fee is inclusive of the hostel fee, mess fee, tuition fee and other charges like Wi-Fi, etc. There are no special discounts in fees for any category student; it will be same for all the students. There are many scholarships for students to avail like a scholarship provides 100 % fee amount for all 4 years but for around 5-6 students each year based on their merit and also, there are many more scholarships.

The faculty of our Institute is pretty decent. The faculty members of this Institute are all Ph.D qualified and mostly are qualified from renowned Institutions like IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Roorkee and some of them are even qualified from famous foreign Universities. Some prefer to teach the students using black boards while some prefer teaching through PPTs displaying on digital board. Group discussions are held very frequently. The problem-solving skills of the faculty are good and they all are well-educated and qualified in their respective subjects. The teacher student ratio is approx 1:25. Mostly all the professors are friendly and easily approachable. You can discuss all your doubts without hesitation.

Placement cell is present in our Institute. I don’t exactly know how they help students in securing a job but I have a rough idea of it. The placement cell of our Institute approaches different companies and invite them for the placement in our Institute and also the placement cell organises many event in our Institute where they invite some of the top industrialist. Some of the companies that visit our Institute are American Express, PayPal, DeltaX, etc. According to available data on our site, the highest package for the year 2024 was 82 LPA and the average package was around 17 LPA for DSAI and CSE branch while it was around 14 LPA for ECE branch.

The Institute provides compulsory residence at the campus hostel and there are 5 hostels in our campus; 3 for boys and 2 for girls and the Ramanujan Hostel is the biggest hostel of Chhattisgarh. And if we talk about the Mess food, it is better than that of others in my opinion. The hostel rent includes the electricity charges, hall establishment fee, hostel rent, and mess fee. The total hostel fee is Rs. 27,350/-. The curfew timing for all hostels is 12 AM and for 1st year students, it is 10 PM. My experience at the Institute’s hostel is very good so far.

The infrastructure of our Institute is good. The campus is built on about 50 acres of land and is situated in Naya Raipur. The classes of my Institute are very good, with each of them having the digital and black board facility. Moreover, all the classes are air-conditioned with each having the capacity to accommodate around 120 students. Other basic facilities include Library, Labs, Seminar Hall, Auditorium, Canteen, Sports Complex, Security, and more. My favorite place in campus is Palm Park.

My campus life is good at IIIT Naya Raipur since there is no pollution in the area where the Institute is built. And due to the limited seats, there are limited students in the campus giving the campus a noise free environment. There are many clubs in our Institute like Tech Club, Dance Club, Singing Club, Entrepreneur Club, etc. are available. I joined the Dance Club as well as Tech Club of my Institute. Many extracurricular activities like Arambh, separate sports tournaments, etc. are also organised. The most popular fest of our Institute is Tehnovate which is 3 days annual program. Also festivals like Navratri, Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi, etc. are celebrated too. My experience had been great so far.
